He is in remission, but, it is a lethal disease, and can be, a virulant (fast spreading once penetrating the body) disease, with few cures, though, remission is obviously possible. I am curious as to what you might think?

I am asking for the opinions of Ron Paul supporters so if you want to tell me it doesn't make sense save your time.

Ron Paul has a lot of good things and ideas in my opinion, but I don't understand his desure to dump the department of education or how this makes any sense. I know education funds come primarily from the individual states, but even so, there are so many schools in dire need of funds that taking even more away doesn't seem logical at all.

If the entire point is to make the school system private then maybe I see the point, but with so many more important things on our plate right now how can he even consider this in his platform???

I recieved a citation for speeding. I have an otherwise completely clean record on all counts (no traffic violations, no arrests). I've done a little research and it looks like I could contest it based on technicalities like when the laser was last calibrated, etc etc. My brother said because it is my first infraction I can 'defer' it. If anyone wants to chime in on this issue, I have to mail it back to the court in 12 days (9/18). Oh, and I am in Seattle, WA if that helps.

Would you also give him the right to vote and put all legal documents in his native tongue and make it a crime to ask him to learn to speak english? And forgive all his crimes. Would you give him preferential treatment over those that follow the law? Or would you have him arrested and sent to prison and deported?

Ron Paul is a long time Gold advocate and wants to return the U.S. to a sound, Gold backed type of money.
He has written several books on the subject.

I don't think it's a coincidence that, so far, the price of Gold is rising today:

The whole worlds financial system, using mostly the American dollar, has been on real shaky ground for the last 3 or 4 weeks, because of mortgage defaults.
Is this a rush out of the U.S. dollar and into wealth preserving Gold, the start of a huge loss of confidence for the U.S. dollar?

If you get arrested but are later de-arrested does this mean in effect you never got into trouble and there won't be any record of this whatsoever? And would this mean that you wouldn't have been cautioned? I only ask as my mate was arrested while drunk and in the company of a idiot who started causing criminal damage. He only remembers being told he was de-arrested after giving a statement and released later that night. (The bloke owned up to it) He is now joining the police but is worried about it showing up as he didn't declare it on his form as it asked for cautions/convictions. Any serious answers would be great with full score going to an accurate answer!

If a country can fund a program in the 1940's to bring together in one place, some of the greatest scientific minds in the world to create an atomic bomb, is it not possible to approach a cure for cancer in the same way, instead of asking the tax burdened public outside supermarkets to do it?

I'm tired of these Liberal p-u-s-s-i-e-s that think guns are the problem. I got my first .22 when i was 5 years old, i'm now 23 and have been shooting the entire time, and own some 30 guns of various types. Not once have any of my guns killed a person, except when i was in Iraq, and i didn't technically 'own' THAT gun. who agrees?

to save your own life or someone else's? my teacher in my criminal justice class said that you had better think about if you have it in you or not, because if you don't, you are a danger to yourself and those around you and you better get another job. i can't believe that anyone wouldn't have it in them. it's an innocent person vs. a killer. easy choice, right?

Is this what we are looking for in our leaders?

Critics say Mr. Murtha, 75, is squandering taxpayer money, giving away federal dollars to handpicked businesses and projects without competitive bids or independent oversight.

Are you dems complaining about Haliburten getting contracts without bids? Funny how you pick up on that but ignore one of your leaders that do it every day. What a bunch of hypocrites!

I already took my ASBAV test; I scored a 63. Enough to get me into my calling: MEDICINE. So now that the field chances are open I wanted to see any general tips and/or advices regarding this navy field.

I also want to make and informed decision; what are my chances of getting deployed to Iraq after “C” School?

I will be 21 this month; 2 semesters away from my AA in Premed. Single, talented, experienced, and a natural leader. Real rather than religious Christian. Is this the right move for me?

I want to serve my country; I want to serve in the area where my abilities and passion are arrayed: Medicine.
