Think I might have a solution, Tinker:
Why don't we become far-left liberals? That way, we can dismiss 9/11 as an aberrant attack by the Muslims; after all, America made them homicidal--it was our fault.
Although there is one tiny problem: how to explain away all the terrorist strikes against the United States during the '90s...
I mean, Clinton The Benevolent Lib was in office, and he's beyond reproach, so what made the Muslims murderous then?
AH!!!!!
We'll just deny terrorism exists.
You know, I bet Zawahiri, Sadar, Ahmadenijad, Mashall, Nasrallha and OBL himself aren't really such bad guys.

I don't know what makes lefties run to point to other people who commit acts of terrorism as if that disproves the fact the the worst terrorist of all time are Muslim. I also notice that when they compile these lists they rarely mention the left wing terrorists such as the Weathermen or the Students for a Democratic Society or the Symbionese Liberation Army or the radical animal rights groups or the radical Eco-groups.
Anyway, Islam is much less a religion based on peace than it is a religion based on submission. Often these two words are used interchangably in their language. They belive that peace is only possible if we submit to the will of Allah. The will of Allah is whatever their religious leader says it is.
So when they wish peace upon you, what exactly does that mean?

It appears even though just about every religion has their equivalent of the 10 commandments. The largest % of those commandments relate to mans relationship to his fellow man. It seems many religious people feel that only their sect of their religion is going to heave. All radical religious people seem to say I love you so much I'm even willing to kill you to convert you, because I want to spend time with you on the other side. Too bad we aren't willing to get to know each other on this plain.
Since an individuals relationship with their God is so private, how can an outsider even tell if another has a relationship with the same GOD as their faith?

Islam is a religion of a 'relative' peace. It preaches peace to all Muslims and Christians. However, it also says that should someone blaspheme against God or the prophet then they must be killed.
Some wackos chose to hijack the religion and make it even more violent for their own purposes.

for those dismissing the notion that America has contributed to terrorism in the Middle East, check your facts... we've been alternately siding with one group or the other, while condoning the killing and massacre of whichever group we're not currently siding with, for DECADES. long before Clinton was in office. until a President comes along brave enough to change our Middle Eastern foreign policy, we will always face terrorism. i'm not saying we "deserve it" because of our foreign policy... just that terrorism will never go away, and until we stop exacerbating the problems over there with our interventionist policies, we will always be a target.
and the world's largest terrorist group, and in fact, largest organized crime syndicate and largest seller of arms around the globe, is the IRA. if we had the same policies toward Ireland as we have toward the Middle East, you people would have a LOT more to be scared of.

Nelsom Mandela is not a muslim, he was once labelled a terrorist. Now we all know that terrorist, is the term that the powerful use to describe the weak who go against them. Sometimes the terrorist are vile and evile, timothy mc veigh, sometime the 'terrorist' are truely freedom fighters, physically, mentally, orally. I think you will find that the people America call terrorist, through their actions are at the very worst the same as America, and many that america has called friends. Through their reason they are Warriors, freedom fighters. " He accused me of having his illness, than escaped"
IF AMERICA IS A NATION OF PEACE THAN WHY HAVE THEY, KILLED MORE CIVILIANS, INVADED MORE COUNTRIES, DROPPED MORE BOMBS, DESTROYED MORE HOMES, THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY OVER THE PAST 50 YEARS?
NATIONS IN AFRICA, ASIA, MIDDLE EAST, SOUTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA, HAVE ALL SUFFERED FROM USA AGGRESSION AND EVIL POLICIES. THEY HAVE ALL HAD USA BOMBS DROPED ON THEM, ALL HAD CIVILAINS KILLED BY USA SOLDIERS, AND US BACKED TERRORIST, ALL HAVE HAD WOMEN RAPED BY US SOLDIERS, ALL HAVE HAD EVIL LEADERS PUT THEIR BY USA AND GOOD LEADERS ROMOVED BY USA, ALL HAVE HAD RESOURCES STOLEN BY USA.

Jesus said "I come not to bring peace but a sword".
Islamists are only following after Jesus.
What's the problem?
