After someone told me my political views lined up with Jefferson Davis, I was offended. I believe in strictly adhering to the constitution, I believe in small federal government...the South argued that Davis wanted too big of a central govt in the South, I am a republican, he was democrat. I am conservative, he was an idiot. I do NOT support slavery of course, though I think back then it was better to be a slave than a free black bc at least you were guaranteed shelter and food. Nothing that I know of Davis even comes CLOSE to this. What planet is this woman that told me my politics resemble his on? Is she a wacko? It doesn't sound like I align with Davis, right?

Well my friend ( seriously not me ) have some BB/Pellet Guns and he told me that they are illegal in some states. I was wondering if Pellet guns and/or BB guns are legal in illinois because I saw a website that sells them for a reasonable price and I am interested in buying without being caught in any illegal action. ( All the BB/Pellet guns have a Orange tip by law )

Is it legal to have a stun gun in michigan? I see them for sale on some sites but it says they will not ship to michigan. I know you can have a gun obviously, so shouldn't you be able to have a stun gun too?

I have been reading a lot about the Mayan Calander.

I have a new view on life now.

I think the treat is VERY real. It scares the crap out of me, don't call me crazy until you read into it because i'm not just pulling crap out of my butt.

I knew something was up when Bush signed the law on May 9th, 2007 stating if another 9-11 happens, or worse, that he will become dictator, the martial law will go into effect and the elections WONT go on. Hmmm, anyone ever curious as to why he would even think about signing that??

This all started with "big" Bush who in so many words wanted The New World Order to go into effect ASAP! Which is the whole world is under one government. You know who else wants this? Hillary Cliton and Barrack Obama (sp) .. dont believe me? Watch the Youtube debates!
Anyways, so president Bush is just following his dad.

I think they've scared us with 9-11 .. they are going to scare us again with an even bigger attack .. and i think this is all leading up to whats going to happen in 2012.

I think something else will happen before the elections, Bush will become dictator, the marial law will go into effect and i think they are just trying to control the population and get ready for something to happen in 2012, whether anything is going to happen or not, i dont know.

Any rude/immature/thoughtless answer will be reported AND deleted.

Please dont call me crazy .. please don't say things like "Bush never signed a dictator law" ... theres a link to it on the CNN website so please pay attention.

What are your SERIOUS views on 2012?

options that we have? As far and pretaining to the characteristic of somebody who is not scared of going to war if we have to but who isn't necessarily a war monger either? I'm afraid since Bushes politics that if a democrat is President that he or she would not go to war no matter the cost or the potential risk another country could post. Now, before I am labled let me give a small back drop on opinion of the war right now. I hate that we are at war with Iraq, I hate that we ever went to war with them, I thought it was a bad idea from the beginning even lacking then, the knowlegde of what little really did not know, going in there so culturally naive. BUT... that being said. I don't agree with what got us there and us being there, I feel as though, we can't leave now and that we have to try to peace together literally the pottery that we have broken there, not just for their sake but for our future security as well. So.. who is a likely candidate for this position or future ....

do you realize in all your infinite wisdom that you actually NEED a livable environment to work in, to make the ALMIGHTY DOLLLLLARRRRRRR and to send your kiddies to school, take vacations to a place that is possibly still beautiful now, have FOOD TO EAT, etc. etc. Hey conservatives, since you go by that name (conservatives), why don't you ACTUALLY CONSERVE SOMETHING FOR ONCE?!?!?! That would be a novel idea. God knows you don't conserve money, a proper education, people's rights according to the Constitution, etc.

Should Barack Obama get in their face and tell them what he thinks or is Hillary right, that you can't talk to them for at least a year?
A year would be plenty of time for the new administration to get a handle on what they wanted to say to these "rogue nations".
Obama is willing to discuss things with them right away.
Is this a bold new style of diplomacy and leadership as Barack believes or foolhardy and the result of a lack of experience as Hillary asserts?
What do you do in your own life if you have a problem with someone? Do you go talk to them about it or do you avoid them?

Teens charged with sex abuse for slapping bottoms
Posted Jul 23rd 2007 2:34PM by Sandy Maple
Filed under: Health and Safety, Lifestyle, Middle school, Public school
Next month, two 13-year-old boys from Oregon will go on trial, facing charges of five counts of sex abuse and five counts of harassment . If convicted, these two could possibly receive 10 years in jail and the distinction of being labeled as sex offenders for the rest of their lives. What horrible crime did these boys commit? They slapped some girls on the butt.

Apparently, Cory Mashburn and Ryan Cornelison ran down a hallway at Patton Middle School last February, swatting the bottoms of the girls they passed. Bottom-slapping is against policy in the McMinnville Public Schools, so a teacher's aide sent them to the office. This would have been a good time to have a talk with these kids about inappropriate touching and possibly send them home to think about what they had done. Instead, they were interrogated for hours, handcuffed and sent to juvenile jail, where they spent five days.

Police reports and juvenile court records reveal that the butt-slapping incident occurred during what can only be described as a butt-slapping frenzy at Patton Middle School. For reasons not revealed, girls and boys were all slapping one another's bottoms with crazy abandon. Some students say this is a common form of greeting.

Since the incident, the female victims of the butt-slapping have recanted their statements to interrogators, saying they felt pressured at the time of questioning. One even admits that there was nothing sexual about the butt-slapping. However, one of the victim's mother thinks the charges are appropriate. "Slapping somebody on the butt is sexual harassment, and it is a crime," Rhonda Pope said. "Considering what was going on and that my daughter was offended, it is a crime. And it's not OK."

She's right, I guess. It is not okay to slap girls on the butt under any circumstances. But should these boys really be faced with charges of sex abuse? The McMinnville district attorney, Bradley Berry, says his office "aggressively" pursues sex crimes that involve children. "These cases are devastating to children," he said. "They are life-altering cases." He is no doubt referring to the girls, but it seems the boys are the ones whose lives will be altered in this case.
