Emil Matasareanu(one of the bank robbers)seriously wounded (shot 20 times in legs) and dropped his weapon. Why did the police not give him medical help that may have saved his life, why did they tell the ambulance to leave, only to CALL THE ambulance BACK when it was already to late. New policy for police to leave a HAND-CUFFED, wounded suspect on the road to bleed to death for 45 minutes. They should have been able to search him for a bomb (as they stated they did not know if he had one) in 5 minutes and still got him the help he needed. According to Officer Vojtecky, one of the officers at the scene. said "Don't let this man move. He's trying to bleed out on us. He's trying to kill himself." Well, if his goal was to "prevent" the guy from bleeding to death, why would he just not get him help, or provide him some aid, since police are also trained in first aid. Could have found something, used it as a tourniquet on his legs.Especially like to hear from officers who were there that day

I just met a new friend on post who is new to this army life like me. We seem o get along great, she seems happy and normal, our kids get along. Her husband seems nice. but in her blog I just read it talks about feeling like when she was in highschool, she stared vomiting "Again" to feel clean. she not only does it to loose weight but becasue she is unhappy. She says her husband is ok with her puking which makes her feel even more like he hates her body (she just had a baby btw) ..is there any army programs out there i can refer her to, or i can call to ask how to help her? I don't know how to approach her since in her blog she is open about it but in person would never mention that. she's like 2 different people, and her husband will deploy in march. So i hate to neglect her as a freind becasue of her issues, but i don't know how i can sit back and ignore it either.

Who has seen them, and if YES, how do you feel about them? Also, if you don't believe them, how do you explain all of the different pieces of evidence that are shown? If you agree, what are the best steps to getting justice for this crap?

That's what it seems like to me some time. This great grand illusion. Watch the pretty assistant, not the magician's hands. They keep us at each others throats in an attempt to keep us from focusing on the fact that they are all controlled by special interests and have only those interests in mind. The only thing that changes is the names of the groups providing the money.
What do you think?

At last night's debate Mike Gravel brought up an interesting point in that Barack Obama claimed that he wouldn't take money from banks and from lobbyists. Mike Grave's accusation of was denied by Obama last night and he even refuted it by claiming that the reason why Mike knows about the "bundlers" is because of the legislation he has helped passed. After the debate however CNN proclaimed that Barack has not passed such legislation and it is evident that he is being supported by lobbyists and banks. If Barack is lying to us now why wouldn't he lie to us if he is elected president?

Saddam Hussein under his 40 year rule killed half of the amount that the american governement have killed in 4 years of war, So howcome Saddam Hussein was execution worthy but George Bush isnt, now its part of my understanding that, Iraq as a country had nothing to do with 9/11, and its quite obvious that 9/11 was orchestrated by the US government as a good reason to start a war on 'Terror' which would then allow them to secure oil in the middle east, oil being a lifeline in the west, a lifeline that was slowly running out and getting too expensive, i mean calling it a war on terror is a joke when what we are doing there is clearly terrorising, i mean is terror only terror when its happening to middle class westerners, i think people forget that Iraqis, Afghans and all number of middle easterners are people too, the US and UK governments are killing Men, Women And Children, Theyre only killing male soldiers, its hypocrisy and stupidity and i fail too see why people dont care about it.

The Deadly Occupation
[from the July 30, 2007 issue]-

One day in January 2005, an elderly couple was driving down a road in Mosul, Iraq, when without realizing it they passed through a makeshift US military checkpoint. The checkpoint, recalled a sergeant who came upon the scene, was "very poorly marked." Yet, he said, the soldiers "got spooked" and opened fire. The bodies of the couple sat in the car for three days, the sergeant said, "while we drove by them day after day."

That incident was no Haditha or Abu Ghraib. It was a fairly typical day for Iraqis under US occupation. As Chris Hedges and Laila Al-Arian make clear in their exhaustive investigation in this issue, the degradation and killing of civilians by US troops have become commonplace in Iraq. At tense checkpoints, in futile house-to-house searches, as convoys and patrols hurtle down the roads, the official rules of engagement and unofficial day-to-day practices of the occupation often add up to shoot first and ask q

Does it seem to you that people today are scared to death to help anyone out because of the fear of being sued? I've heard of doctors losing their licenses because they stopped to help someone and then were sued. People could lose their homes.

I also heard where a judge tossed out a case and reprimanded the person suing because it was a nonsense case. The judge asked the person why he was suing the person that saved his life?

I know lawsuits have their place but come on people, you don't have to sue over everything. No wonder insurance costs, medical costs, auto and homeowners insurance are so high.
