A lot of things can happen within two years. That's two more years of America's tax dollars funding the war. Two more years of American military men and women coming home in body bags. Two more years for the Dems and Repubs to debate an exit strategy. Two more years for the Generals to try to convince the President that they need an additional "two" more years to retrain the Iraqi military.

Yes, the oil companies have record profits because oil and gas are at record price levels. The market sets the price. Look at the oil companies PROFIT MARGINS. They run from 8% to 10%. The governments profit margin (taxes) on gasoline ranges from 12% to 20% depending on the state. Hillary thinks she has the right to add to the governments bottom line by taking from the oil companies smaller bottom line. That is crooked and socialist. She is corrupt and misleading everyone she can.

I have a question but first, the senario: My father was called away for Hurricane Katrina to help. He was told by his employer that he must use vacation time while away. We have heard of a law that states that the employee can be granted unpaid leave for volunteers. He currently resides in New Jersey and are not sure if this law is state or nation wide. My question is: Is there a law that states this?

If possible, please provide a website and ONLY answers for UNPAID not paid leave.

Due to our causing such chaos in Iraq there will undoubtedly be massive upheaval/outright Civil War when we leave but i really do believe it's the only option. All we are doing at the moment is delaying the inevitable, whenever we leave Iraqi's are going to find their new common ground themselves and it's very likely there'll be much bloodshed.

However, currently they're having to deal with massive abuses by the occupying forces too, please read this article before replying, and weep for the Iraqi's.

I am a Goldwater conservative, and I believe abortion should only be allowed if the woman is going to die otherwise or if the woman was raped. If you seriously think that abortion should be legal in all cases to irresponsible women who could have taken preventitive measures and who should have been more responsible, and then go on to have a baby killed, you are whacked and sound like a communist.

The democrats says they we should end the war now and pull out of Iraq, Congress have the power to end it right now by defunding the war so why won't they? I have a theory here it is, they will not do it because if they do and there is dire results in that aftermath they will be blamed for it.
Now if they can browbeat Bush into withdrawing and there is a bloodbath afterwards they can all scream it's Bush fault, I can't think of another reason why they won't do it are they just BS artist.

Al Gore’s Other Green

It turns out that, when it comes to his speeches on global warming, Al Gore is interested in another kind of green.

The environmental seer reportedly raked in around $100,000 for a 75-minute-long University of California, San Diego enviro-sermon, according to thesmokinggun.com.

Taking a cue from Angelina Jolie, Gore insisted that he be able to pre-approve any banners, logos, and communications materials for the event and that there would be no reporters, video, or audio taping of his hot-air lecture.

Gore’s other demands included first-class air travel for two, a $1,000 per day expense account, his own security guards and, of course, a hybrid car.

From the Left Coast Report.
