Not enough room in the question line, sorry. But I recently read an article in maxim discussing how a man will have to pay for a child once his name is on the birth certificate even if he provides DNA evidence to prove he's not the father (happens more than you think, especially to soldiers sent overseas) yet we get absolutely no say in the birth of the child? Isn't it a a little unfair to not allow the father to keep a baby that is rightfully his but legally require him to pay for the child if it isn't? I just want some good and well thought out answers please, don't be rude or ignorant whatever your viewpoint.

I read a article where a farmer and saw photos of this farmer in I believe idaho, he was squashing potatoes with his tractor to keep them from going to market so they could raise the price of potatoes, and now the price of potatoes are double of what they were before the conglamorates organized the farmers and had them to hold their product from the market so the price could be raised, " farmers are not subject to the price fixing statue" so if they want to play this game so why don't the American public demand " no subsidies"?

Please can someone tell me, how does copyright law apply here? I don't want to steal anyone's work - I would gladly pass out this poem for free (it's animal-related and I think it would look great in a vet's office). But I am trying to sell some of my own writings on CafePress and I wondered if I could use this, as the writer is anonymous. Thanks for the help!

Did Ronald Reagan "win" the Cold War? Or, was there something inherently flawed in Soviet-styled communism that doomed the USSR from the beginning?

Hillary said it was Bush's war, but she voted for it. Though I am tired of debating whether or not we should have invaded Iraq. The problem is there and we have to deal with it, leaving would just create another Bosnia style massacre. It would turn a low level civil war full blown. If we stay a couple more years, and maybe this government(which has only been in power a year for god's sake!) finally makes some compromises. We have a chance to create a stable government in Iraq, we should not throw it away, and waste all of the blood and treasure that we have already used. Please no Bush or Democrat hating.

Our last five governors in order (1973 - current)

Dan Walker (D) - CONVICTED FELON. Seven year sentence for Savings & Loan fraud totaling over $1 million. Crimes were so bad Clinton refused to pardon him.

Jim Thompson (R) - Deep association with two convicted felons: Jim Thompson spent $20 million of his law firm's money defending convicted felon George Ryan (see below) and he sat on the Audit Committee of Hollinger International run by CEO Conrad Black who looted over $7 million and was convicted on 13 felony counts.

Jim Edgar (R) - Involved in MSI scandal which involved $20 million in graft from Illinois Taxpayers. Several in his administration were tried and convicted but prosecution never made it to his level. The same cannot be said for

George Ryan (R) - CONVICTED FELON - Found guilty on 18 felony charges. PARDONED ALL 156 inmates on Death Row to gain sympathy for trial.

Rod Blagojevich (D) - Several felony investigations are ongoing for our governor and his staff.

In California a woman claimed God told her to throw her kids in the bay. She was locked up as insane. In Washington DC Bush says God told him to drop bombs on Iraqi's and invade them. He gets accolades from the Republicans. This sounds like a double standard to me.

I printed up my free annual credit report from Experian and found 3 negative items for cable, phone, and satellite dish service. The person installed these services at their home and I reported it to our local police department. I get a call from the detective on the case who tells me that even though he has an address where the unauthorized services were installed, he can't go to the house and charge them with anything cause he'd need someone to admit wrongdoing, which obviously won't happen. My question is, WHAT THE HECK??? I mean, if you have an address and this person has installed services in my name, I don't care if he/she doesn't fess up to it! Let them know you've caught on and that they're being investigated! Or not? How does this work? Why do I feel so violated, like I'm the one who did something wrong? And why does the 'thief' have more protection than I do?

Ok its nice and all to help other people out but I'm from L.A and I see lots of problems that we have here. Most of the teenage kids here give up on education because they're too poor to go to school and either end up doing drugs or joining a gang. Why can we help kids out here? We're fighting a freakin war. Why not donate to soldiers? Our own flesh and blood? Organizations like Al-Queda want to attack our own freakin soil. Donate to something to prevent that. Maybe I'm just one of these people but I believe in non-intervention, as in don't attack countries for no reason and strengthen our borders and our own country. I see so many problems here and it really upsets me that no one has the common sense to help our own people before helping others around the world. Don't you agree that untill this country cannot be improved any more we shouldn't donate to those causes. It might sound cruel but we have problems of our own.
