Democrat question...?
The democrat party donates large amounts of money to the listed interest groups. For this assignment I am doing I have to give a real short one sentence answer why according to their political views they donate to these particular groups.

-The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC)
-Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA)
-American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations

All I am looking for is one sentence answer for each one...don't need to get into depth.

U.S. intelligence analysts have concluded al-Qaida has rebuilt its operating capability to a level not seen since just before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Glad to see the last 6 years were used wisely by the Bush administration.

Because a few years ago Wisconsin had one of the colder summers in years. So I guess that blows your "summers are getting hotter and hotter every year" theory out of the water, doesn't it? Maybe Wisconsin's weather is just another anomaly that you can just explain away so you can hold on to your theory. Keep telling yourself that.

Anyone else think Gore and the Man Made Global Warming crowd realize they're about as much good for the planet as a hysterical, screaming passenger is for a sinking ship?

Most people realize the world is getting warmer, but many dispute the cause. Gore and his cronies parrot this 'man made' crap, scoffing at any other possibility. With Martian icecaps melting, and the temperature of all celestial bodies in the area warming up, don't they realize how useless this makes them? It's not man made, which means we can't stop it by changing what we do. Shouldn't we be treating it like an impending asteroid? "There's nothing we can do but prepare for the effects, ride it out, and this too shall pass." If we keep focusing on cutting carbon, all we're doing is hurting ourselves for no good reason when we could be preparing for the inevitable. Right now, we're doing nothing to prepare, and crippling the developing world in the process. Not exactly the most effective approach?

I was just curious if this is really a factor in your voting process. I am a supporter of Mitt Romney (as of now) and there seems to be a alot of hype around his religion. Does it matter to you what religion a candidate practices or if they even practice one at all?? I have always thought that America was the land where religion and state were seperate...so why do we care what religion our president practices??

Seems their star witness was an Iraqi/s who lied about the situation. The charges I believe are being dropped. Whatever happened to innocent before proven guilty.

We have been very humane in Iraq. After WWII we hung Nazi
terrorists in the street when caught in acts of violence.

Our brave men and women whom are shot at, having IED's blow up in their faces, have rules of engagement that our very own police officers do not have to abide by.

Try shooting a cop or at one..see what happens.
It's war....its nasty, its awful. Compared to history, our wars are very humane.

Except in this case, it's not Iraqi's killing Iraq's well some are, a lot are Syrian, Iranian. I say a few cruise missiles will stop the flow into Iraq.

IF we fought WWII this way we would have lost. We followed this method once before and cut and run.

...KO'd. McCain actually KO'd himself by squandering 20 million in the first quarter, a poor immigration stance that cost him critical support &, well, a host of other issues. It's a sad end to an American hero, at least in a lot of peoples eyes. He should have got "gettin" while the "gettin" was good! Any body betting on the next candidate to hit the canvas? Edwards??? Ron Paul was not highly rated as to go the distance but shot up into being a major contender after he "rope a doped" a stunned Giuliani in their debate. Clinton seemed strong but is picking up interference from with in her party. Romney seems "untouchable" SO FAR regarding scandals despite looking to be a Bush clone. So...who do you see as the next victim?
