Because a few years ago Wisconsin had one of the colder summers in years. So I guess that blows your "summers are getting hotter and hotter every year" theory out of the water, doesn't it? Maybe Wisconsin's weather is just another anomaly that you can just explain away so you can hold on to your theory. Keep telling yourself that.

As much as I truly am opposed to the "global warming" crock, I don't think that Wisconsin is a good example in regards to weather.

The 'Global Warming' phenomenon is just what it says: Global. Global average temperatures, overall, not just in the summer, have risen slightly over the last 50 years or so (including a slight drop in the 70s, it hasn't been an even process). Local and seasonal variations still go on. If you notice a particularly hot or cool day in the summer, that's just local variation, it may not have anything to do with the global warming phenomenon.

It's silly to point at a hot year or a hotter than normal summer as proof of global warming.

It's equally as silly to suggest a cool summer is the proof that global warming is a myth.

Even looking back at the last hundred years is not very accurate in geological terms. it's a blink of an eye in that regard.

If you're referring to global warming, I'd suggest you pay attention to the first word: Global.

We're talking about world averages.

AND we're NOT talking about 90 degrees per year, but small increase.

It doesn't take a lot to do serious damage.

The idea that "it's really cold here today" disproving GLOBAL warming, is silly.

Not here..In OK our summer has been rainy and very mild. Humid, of course, because of the rain. We broke rain records this yr. Hasn't been 100 yet, and we usually top that by now.
