U.S. intelligence analysts have concluded al-Qaida has rebuilt its operating capability to a level not seen since just before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Glad to see the last 6 years were used wisely by the Bush administration.

You're just using the wrong report card to judge the administration.

Halliburton stock is at record highs.

Coincedence that HAL is the computer from "2001: A Space Odyssey" that decides to start doing what's good for himself instead of for those he is supposed to be serving?

I don't believe it. If that were true, why would Al Qaidas #2 be asking for help from Muslims around the world, to assist in Iraq? sounds like propaganda, but either way it should be seen as just one more reason to keep our guard up. also is it good to use this information as a divisive tool, as you seem to be?

Let's take a closer look, OK?
U.S. military experts expect alQaeda to step up their attacks in the near future to try and reassert themselves and provide more fodder for the anti-war sentiment in this country. (Do you recall the "TET offensive?" Remember the total and devastating military defeat the North Viet Namese suffered? Turns out it proved to be a decisive public relations victory which led to the eventual American troop withdrawal. The terrorists are taking a page out of the history books, and the liberals in this country are playing right into their hands.)
Another reason for their stepped up tactics of indiscriminate terror and murder - the U.S. led offensives in May and June have killed or captured 26 alQaeda leaders and severely disrupted their activities. Militarily, they are being defeated, slowly but surely, and they know it - unfortunately, they seem to be winning the U.S. public's support for our immediate withdrawal - and they know that, also.
Doesn't really make much sense to me to adopt a policy of defeat.

Unfortunately its kind of hard to control the world, we can only control our own country and the influx of unchecked immigrants and visitors. In this day and age there needs to be extensive checks on these people. We need to enforce our immigration laws and we need to curtail the funding of foreign governments to the detriment of our own. We neeed to stop being so politically correct and start bringing the hammer down on wrongdoers in our socity especially when suspected of affiliations and support of terrorism. As a free society we cannot keep tabs on everyone ut we certainly can be very vigilant of our surroundngs......

It means, get prepared for another attack in US soil.... Sponsored by the corporate bankers of this world!!
Thanks terrorism, you`ve done great as a never-ending war (non winnable) and acting as a virus to democracy and Republics...
We will get another blow, and this one will be dirty!! Expect some dirty bombs or something similar, just enough to make our population paranoiac!!
This world is getting mad! And there is no place to hide!

Yes. So by all means, let's do less to make ourselves safe. That's the Democratic way. We all remember the huge success that the Democratic hero Jimmie Carter had in dealing, in a typically Democratic way, with the Iranians (also Muslim extremists BTW) in 1979. Donkeys.

I really suspect that Al quaeda is nothing but a farce cover for CIA and MI6 covert ops. Of course the suicide bombers are naive arabs brainwashed into killing themselves. No different than our troops.
