Republicans are "conservative" right? well wars dont seem to be too conservative to me. It seems a bit contradictory to be against abortion...but for iraqi children getting their heads blown off. Answers?

Also has anyone seen statistics or proof that there are jobs Americans won't do? The Heritage foundation did a study of what the economic impact would be on medicare, and social security. It estimated 2.5 trillion dollars it will cost us. Has anyone seen a government report on this? I mean they are trying to pass this awefully fast. Have you seen a report from them, if so please link it. Certainly if they were working for the best interest of us they would know and be able to tell us what the cost is going to be, right?

still supportive of President Bush eventhough he wants to pass this amnesty bill and have us legally invaded by a 3rd world country?
As a Conservative I just don't understand why others like me are still loyal towards Bush eventhough they know he is more of a Dictator than a President.
And they know that he wants to turn our Great Nation into a third world country so all of his rich friends will have all of the money while the rest of us starve.
So why do they still stand behind him?
Do they really think that you have to be a Liberal or a Democrat to disagree with him so that's why they still insist on showing their loyalty?
We should be capable of forming our own opinions based on fact rather than what others in our group believes we should think.

i recently baught a car a month ago and i have it parked in back of my apt house until i can afford to fix the brakes and register it my landlord is saying that if i dont register it soon he or the town is gonna start fineing me $100 a day he says its the law but it doesnt make sense to me (im not driving the thing)i just cant afford to get all that done this moment due to decrease in hours at my job is this really a law?

The ones that support the bill have a plan in hand (Legalization, making them pay taxes, secure the borders, business penalties, etc...)

The ones that are against it are saying send them back. My question is, do they have a Plan for this..Does anybody knows if they have one and where is it?

Our 4 wonderful(idiot) senators: Sessions, Vitter, Demint and Bond are under the impression that they didnt have time to propose amendments. I have been watching the whole debate today and after the wonderful 2 hour protest by these idiots, Arlen Specter(member of the GOP party as well) told the truth that on thursday when the first cloture failed, they had hours and hours to propse amendments, but instead they proposed none and they tried to stop others from proposing amendments. So next time you feel sorry for them, remember that it is a trick so they can buy more time. The process(clay pigeon) has been agreed by all the leaders of their parties and it is very fair.

if a person babysitts (without a license) a 3-4 month year old baby and the child is injured severly, what sentence can this person face? I have heard stories like this on the news, but they never tell you the sentence and what actually happens.

in the state that I live in, babysitters have to be state licensed. And the news said it is negligence. It was a individual person and the kid was like under 3 months I think.
The baby is now paralyzed and the brain was damaged. He almost died from injuries because the baby sitter lied to authories at the hospital. And he( the baby sitter) is an adult.
the state and children's services and the hospital filed a case against the person (from what the media says)

I work for a small co. and have exprnced. favoritsm and other issues in the workplace. I cant go to my human resources because she is also the office manager and h.r. person. The v.p. is no help because they are verrry close. What she says goes. I need to know what i can do. Labor law lawyers wont help because its doesnt fall under that kind of discrimination. My sister was dating a guy on and off for multiple years. While they were off, she got pregnant (different guy). They got back together before she had the baby (yes he kew it wasn't his)his parents wanted a DNA test to prove that the baby wasn't BF's. So got tested came back neg. After about a couple years,once again on and off.They, a few years later break up for good. She moves out w/child and lives her life. 6 months later his parents file for visitation rights. Is this for real? They aren't even related to the child ie.. DNA test proved it and the X-BF and my sis never married. Can the truely get visitation rights.
