Our 4 wonderful(idiot) senators: Sessions, Vitter, Demint and Bond are under the impression that they didnt have time to propose amendments. I have been watching the whole debate today and after the wonderful 2 hour protest by these idiots, Arlen Specter(member of the GOP party as well) told the truth that on thursday when the first cloture failed, they had hours and hours to propse amendments, but instead they proposed none and they tried to stop others from proposing amendments. So next time you feel sorry for them, remember that it is a trick so they can buy more time. The process(clay pigeon) has been agreed by all the leaders of their parties and it is very fair.

You try studying 1000 pages and then decide what needs to be amended then draft your amendments in less than 2 days. And in your spare time you can study the 27 amendments submitted as one package with the bill.
Is that the way you want the Senate to operate?

Of course it's being 'shoved through' - not as fast as it's supporters would like, since the more the American people hear about it, the greater the opposition is.

this bill is being shoved through. Normally it takes years to pass a bill this is being done in a month.
If I recall correctly , a year is larger than a month. Maybe you didn't know that .

yes it is being shoved through really fast! they should take the time and read the bill and fix it to make it no amnesty for illegals. if this goes through i dunno america but we will suffer huge amounts for this!
