Who's anti-gun? That's not constitutional!

Fact is that guns keep people safe. The smaller/weaker they are the more of an equalizer it is. People that fear guns probably haven't learned much about them.

Anyone that believes in and enjoys the rights afforded by the Constitution should be patriotic and wish to protect it.

First, hopefully you don't believe the two go hand in hand.

Being 'anti-gun' has nothing to do with being unpatriotic.

There are many reasons to be anti-gun. Even as a firm believer in the 2nd amendment I can agree with some levels of gun control. A great deal of that has to do with living along the East Coast of the US now, instead of the rural south where I grew up (and where 'gun control' meant you could hit a bulls-eye at 100 yards on a windy day).

You can be patriotic and anti-gun. Support your nation, but be willing to speak your mind if you disagree with it's leaders.
Support those that serve your country. No GOOD military in history wanted to be active...the failure of politicians to achieve diplomatic results, puts brave men and women in harms way every day...but it's the politicians that should be cast any blame, not them.

So...if your considering it unpatriotic to disagree with the leaders of your nation, I encourage you carefully consider the ideals of that nation. It should not be considered unpatriotic, for example, in the US to actively campaign for change...that is a privilege.

I'm a kid too. I hate it. I think it's a spinoff from the 60's. Protesting was cool and everyone else was just a stiff. I think it's so stupid. The whole Bob Marley thing and all is stupid. Idolizing a pothead. Being rebelious seems to be cool. I have no problem rebelion, but don't do it ust because everyone else is. They should do it because they have considered it and it is what they want. I support the war, because I understand it. I think we should just send all those ungrateful, stupid, posers to some 3rd world country. They'll beg us to let them back lol.

It's cool to be anti-gun because cool people don't like seeing others get shot. Guns suck. And its not unpatriotic to be against guns. If being patriotic means loving guns, then what does that say about the country?

Because two of the three basic cultural institutions in the country the Church and the Public Schools are controlled by communists,The third institution, the nuclear family, has been destroyed by the communist government civil service.
There is no one left to pass our basic values to the next generation. I predict that our nation will resemble eastern Europe in 75 years, sub-sharan Aferica in 100.

Nobody said it was 'cool'. I dont' really like guns, but I'm not anti-gun, and I don't really like what's going on with Iraq right now, but I'm not unpatriotic.

People are anti gun because of all the school shootings and the number of violent crimes in america. Being anti gun isnt necessarily unpatriotic. I for one would like to see stricter gun laws.

Because as a kid it is "cool" and "hip" to be against things. Whether that be your parents, school, teachers, the rules, etc.

You need to understand that people who have different views than you doesn't make them unpatriotic. Those people who oppose the proflieration of weapons in our society are just as patriotic as you claim to be. Maybe even more because they care if other Americans live or die.
