I agree with Lou Dobbs' amnesty views. However, his wife's ancestry is irrelevant to the point he is making.
As a slaveowner, Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence calling for all men to be entitled to the pursuit of happiness. His slave ownership was irrelevant to the legitimacy of his argument as is Lou Dobbs' marital status.

Yeah. Well. Lou Dobbs is hated by liberals of all stripes.
I think the issue is not LEGAL immigrants. Its people being rewarded to stay here because they're illegal immigrants; which simultaneously punishes all of those people who came here legally.
That's why the pro-amnesty people hate Lou Dobbs. His wife and in-laws came here legally. They want the illegals to be able to stay here.
The pro-amnesty people just hate to admit Lou's right on the money with this issue.
Focused like a laser beam baby! Sharp as a scalpel he is.

I never for one minute thought that he was ever racist. He is just against illegal immigrants. Those who like to do name calling are more than likely racist themselves. As a matter of fact, everyone of us has a little racism in us. You can claim not to but I am sure of it. I talked to several Christians that claim they aren't racists, but they turn around at some point and make statements about blacks wanting to be called African-American and want their fair share of rights. That my friends is racism. Before doing any name calling on anyone, you should look at yourself long and hard and what you have said and done in your past before casting any stones.

Most legal mexicans understand the damage amnesty would impose on us all. They always play the race card when losing the debate!

It's the neocons that encourage this division to distract us from the fact that they are destroying everything about America that we value. First-world pay, benefits, living standards, and education. They have been fighting for decades to degrade--and then dissolve--all of this and have succeeded.
Divide and conquer. Accuse Americans who want to ensure the security and quality of their jobs as being racists. All the while telling us to focus on the illegals and not themselves for failing to secure the borders and allowing agribusiness to employ them by the hundreds of thousands with impunity.

It's neither hypocrital nor racist to want to know who is here, what they're doing, and to expect them to obey the same laws the rest of us do.
