If 40 Senators vote “NO” on cloture on Thursday, we will kill the bill (again). My cause is hopeless--but I'm still going to let my Senators know my feelings. How bout you?

Who Knew--I am referring to Kohl (not so bad, but he won't budge) and the completely freakin lock-step Feingold. I won't stop--but they're not even inclined to listen........but it doesn't mean I won't be a PITA!

The cause is NOT hopeless -- none of this sniveling liberal crap from you! I've redoubled my efforts to contact Kit Bond (one of the Republican "flippers" that voted for cloture yesterday). I've faxed and called his office and will continue to fight this bill tooth and nail all the way through the House if need be.
We absolutely cannot give up now. The libs would love nothing more than for us to lie down and quit fighting. Call you senators. Call your representatives for good measure. Write the White House. Check your message board on NumbersUSA.com every day.
No more of this defeatist bullcrud! We WILL carry the day on this!
Ken: Call your senators anyway. They should at least know that they will not be able to count on your support next election. Every one of these senators was popularly elected. It doesn't matter if you ever voted for them in the past (a fact I wouldn't bring up in my call), tell them that you are a CONSTITUENT and that you're very unhappy with the way they'e voted.

I have Senators Boxer and Fienstein......Yikes!!!!!
I did call my Congressman today and he is forwardiing our concerns....Best I can do............
