I know a friend and she was raped by her ex-boyfriend. Although criminal charges are at works, she always tell me that at times she may still forgive him because she really enjoyed their sex lives before. Although she was REALLY raped, she still thinks of it. What should I do to her to make her realize the gravity of what his ex had done to her and her family?

So do unions hold any appeal for you? Where I live the unions are just an excuse for employees to receive a weekly paycheck without working. I know a company that the employee's use the shop for their own personal use or will sleep in their cars during work hours. They are protected by their union and don't care about working. Is this what the Democrats are wanting? Is this what they support? Is it all about the votes....Oh I think so.

What do you think?

Go to the websites. The violence continues to be unabated. I feel that something doesn't add up in Iraq.

How come is it that US says that Al Sadr is the biggest threat to Iraqi security? Even though Iraqi Shias are also suffering?

If the US has failed to fulfill its original strategy, then I believe that there is a reason to "divide and conquer".

The British used the "divide and conquer" strategy in pre colonial India.

I'm appalled. I just asked three consecutive questions about votes that Fred Thompson cast while a Senator, and most of the responses I got were, "Where's your proof?"

First of all, look up his voting record, and there's your proof.

Secondly, the fact that you would consider casting a vote for a former Senator as a candidate for President without knowing how the candidate voted on the issues (whether or not you actually agree with that vote) is really disturbing.

So that poses the question, "How much do you know about your Presidential candidates?"

Do you research their stand on particular issues, or do you simply cast a vote based on what column their name is in on the ballot?

And how much of your own ideals must be reflected in theirs in order for them to earn your vote?

Little or no crime, a job for every one, no junkies or over crowded prisons. Punishment fits the crime.
No out of control youths, inner city thugs with big guns.
Safe to walk the street at night without fear.

But...
No free speech, limited chosess, no vote.

I wish you could mix both communism with democracy...
Free speach, able to vote, Punishment fits the crime, you kill some one with a knife you die by the knife. Prison is a punishment not a holiday and if work is available you work and if you dont, no money, you can starve for all i care..Sorry getting carried away...

Do you prefer news with a viewpoint? Or do you prefer objective reporters that just tell you what is happening?
Do you prefer the fly on the wall view, omniscient narrator, on the scene what is happening there, or something else?
I prefer news that just tells what is going on.
I can make my own decisions and make up my own mind about what is shown?
What do you think?

People that come to the USA To Work are for the most part from Third world Economies...Like Mexico for example..and much of South America..many of those who come are poorly educated..and seek to better themselves...financially but then dont we all? It has been estimated that there are 12 million Illegals in the U.S. that could be granted Pardons for Thumbing their Noses at American Immigration Laws...for years and repeatedly...With that 12 million also comes viewpoints and value systems that are Alien for the most part,,to Traditional American culture...The rule of Law...holds the American Society together...without it we would devolve into the same type societies...from which these people are trying to run away from.

Why is President of the United States of America George W. Bush a respectable leader all over the United States and the World?

I believe the reason why President Bush is a respectable leader is because people see he stands up for what he believes in and he remembers to speak the truth.

I know that this is ancient history, but I've always been curious. After all, when Tony Blair was so gung ho in his support of Bush and the war in Iraq, it made him very unpopular with a lot of the British people. In fact, I remember that shortly after the beginning of the war, I saw some Brits on TV who said that they definitely weren't voting Labour in the next election.

By the way, I am from the US and I am NOT a Bush supporter!:)
