Sad to say most people are increasingly slow and lazy to find the truth until it smacks them in the face.
I don't think I trust most American voters, they usually just trust the options mainstream gives them instead of researching for themselves.
Or they will vote for Hillary because she doesn't have a penis, or Obama because he is black because they think that is going to change things.

All the candidates seem to be bought and paid for and I don't know how I can live in this country if things continue this way.

When you have someone who actually speaks differently, intellegently and honestly people call him a nutjob!!

They are killing each other in the Gaza Strip. Nothing Israel has done. Could it be that these people just enjoy bloodshed, mayhem, and the killing of the innocent. Does it make it OK if they are doing it for Allah? What should we do about the situation in Gaza?

These Nazis will definately loose the white house and Adolph Hitler Jr, (bush) will be charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity, the Jihadist Christian Nazi Party(republicans) will only have a handfull of house and senate seats so in 08 President Hillary and Vice President Obama will have their victory and the dems will controll both houses of congress, we will then have
Universal Health Care, Equal and Quality Education for all, low gas prices, millions of new HIGH PAYING Jobs, not like the low slave wage jobs Emperor Bush created, and the war in Iraq will come to an end and we can concentrate more on Bin Laden and Afghanistan

I'm my EMT experience, I would estimate at least 70% of my calls are straight up B.S. and another 10% probably are too after they get to the hospital and tell the doctor what the real story is. I've transported patients for splinters, the flu, backache, charlie horses, hot flashes preventing a woman from sleeping comfortably, jammed fingers, twisted ankles, diarrhea, heartburn, toothache, diaper rash, minor cuts, bruises, someone just tired, upset, angry, etc. In one case a woman wanted to go to the hospital because she took 2 antibiotic pills and not 1. Btw, in many of these cases there are adults present and cars in the driveway, people just think they won't have to wait in the emergency room. Plus, plenty of calls for people who are drunk and passed out. Don't get me wrong, I love helping folks who need it, but the recent Burger King 911 call really got me thinking about rampant misuse of the system. What percentage of your calls would you estimate were not legitimate emergencies?

* Use aircraft carrier task forces to monitor hot spots.
* Use CIA agents to work with other countries to fight terrorism
* Use special forces to hunt down and kill terrorists quietly.
* Cut off ALL foreign aid / use private donations instead.
* Flat tax so that everybody pays an equal share
* English is the national language. LEARN IT.
* Enforce CURRENT immigration laws. Deport all illegals.

The US may be a "shithole" to socialist, but they seem to prefer this shithole over all the others they could be living in. Says a lot.

I expect the list to be long...well...most of you people won't admit to it, huh?

I already served six years in the military, my wife served three. We have done our time. Neither one of us supports the Iraq war.

Why? It was based on lies, from a CIC on a personal vendetta.

By telling us that Saddam was acquiring yellow-cake from Nigeria, he got much of Congress to green-light his war in Iraq.

That turned out to be a blatant lie. Please don't question my patriotism because I have misgivings in the competency of our leadership. Love of country, and love of "president", are two separate things.

I found this article while reading today's Minneapolis Star Tribune from Minneapolis, Minnesota. An employee at a metro school district was fired for talking to students both on and off campus about abstinence and sexual orientation. This employee has given students who come to him advice for years. Clearly, all the details are not given in the article, but it does give a good overview of what is happening.

Personally, I think this will be an interesting case when it does go to trial. It will really show what the boundaries of free speech and religious expression are with respect to the workplace.

I want to know what everyone else thinks. Some of his comments would, in my opinion, have been inappropriate. However, I think he does have the right and responsibility as a school employee to give advice to students who ask him for advice.

51% to 49% does NOT mean Dems control Congress.

Dems tend to not tow the party line quite like Republicans. This means that Republicans are required to pass off on bills if they ever hope to pass them in both the House and the Senate.

Then Dumbya vetoes it. That means that 2/3 majority is needed to override the President's veto.

With a 51% to 49% lead, they'll never have 2/3 majority.

A one or two percent difference between the number of seats a party holds is not enough to control and dominate Congress, such as the Republicans enjoyed for the last 7 years.

7 years of not getting a damn thing done I might add.

$25/hr and I'll come tutor you personally in the privacy of your own trailer.

Ok...I made a purchase from ebay for my cockatiels. I made immediate payment and waited for the item. I did get it with a note that states: "Your feedback will be appreciated as we would to the same." I did leave a positive feedback but I indicated that the product had a very strong smell of smoke. The seller left feedback for everyone else except me. Isn't that rather rude? I held up my end of the bargin and I am assuming it is because I mentioned the odor in the positive feedback he or she did not leave a feedback.
