I am 23/Female, I am talking to a recruiter for the ARMY, I already gave him my paperwork, I have 5 class "c" convictions( misdemenaors), he said we will need to get waivers for these. Are waivers hard to get approved for something like this.?

Depends on how long ago they were, your looking at prob 6 week wait or more unless they were years ago. Good Luck and Thank you for serving if you get in.

No, you can pretty much get a waiver for anything in the Army. Seriously.

five is pushing the limit. depends on what they are for and how long ago they occurred. but Army is about the only Branch that will consider that many.
