People that come to the USA To Work are for the most part from Third world Economies...Like Mexico for example..and much of South America..many of those who come are poorly educated..and seek to better themselves...financially but then dont we all? It has been estimated that there are 12 million Illegals in the U.S. that could be granted Pardons for Thumbing their Noses at American Immigration Laws...for years and repeatedly...With that 12 million also comes viewpoints and value systems that are Alien for the most part,,to Traditional American culture...The rule of Law...holds the American Society together...without it we would devolve into the same type societies...from which these people are trying to run away from.

Yes, excessive illegal immigration will destroy America's economy and its values. Hispanics come illegaly into this country and dont care to learn our language, steal tax money, etc. It will be the downfall of the US if left unchecked, and it is President Bush's and the Liberals' fault. We dont need anymore bills, we have all the laws in place to fight illegal immigration, but they are not enforced. If this keeps up much longer, the US will fall into economic peril. 75% of Los Angeles' most wanted list are illegal Hispanics. If they were gone, LA would be 75% safer and the taxes required to pay for all the stuff that goes into finding these guys could go to the homeless, poor, etc., or be taken away all together.

If illegal immigration continues, the US will become so lost and confused internally, and we will devolve in to a Third World Economy, which, for a country of our size, would mean the destruction of our nation's people altogether.

It's inevitable. The value of the dollar is going down because the government keeps printing out more dollars for wars, entitlements, and useless earmark projects, so the dollor is in high risk of collapse; when that happens, the US will undergo the worst depression of history. Also, the rate at which illegals enter the country, by 2020, 80% of the US will be immigrants who entered the country illegally. They are unskilled and uneducated.

Your point is right on the money....It has long been known and accepted as fact but, our current electorate are INSANE!

The following is a quote from President Grover Cleavland's First Inaugural Address on March 4, 1885:

The laws should be rigidly enforced which prohibit the immigration of a servile class to compete with American Labor, with no intention of acquiring citizenship, and bringing with them and retaining habits and customs repugnant to our civilization.

And President Taft dealt with situations where the politicians were so caught up in their own power that they failed the American Citizens...He was brave to state the following:

We live in a stage of politics where legislators seem to regard the passage of laws as much more important than the results of their enforcement.

Seems like we're back in a situation where our politicians need a good quick kick in the ***s.

Our immigration laws already exist - it's time to enforce them "NOW".... The only amendment that I would support to current regulations is that entering the country illegally should be a criminal not a civil infraction...

I agree. If the flow of illegal immigrants continues to go unchecked, it won't be long they turn the U.S. into a Third World country.

Then they would probably go up north to Canada and turn that into a toilet as well.

It seems they go wherever there is a free ride. It's a world wide problem.

Immigrant workers are not destroying our country, our lack of competitiveness is....If we intend on staying a leader, we cannot compete with the likes of China and India....They have much greater populations and our out competing us because of this....The American car companies are a good example. Back in the 60's we were the number car producer of the world....These companies became complacent and thought no one could challenge them.....Now look at them today....They are all being bought out by foreign nationals! They cannot compete with the likes of Japan and Korea....Get real, globalization is what is turning us into a third world country, not cheap labor....We must adapt or be left behind!

One last thing, economics is what makes countries "third world" NOT culture.....
