Lazy as in very capable of working but won't work because they are LAZY. Lazy as in having a numerous amount of kids just so that they don't have to work.

Nothing wrong with giving to those who are mentally-delayed or on disability. But why should my hard-earned tax dollars go to people THAT JUST DON'T WANT TO WORK????

When these type of questions are posed on Y!A libs are quick to jump and say that people with these type of views are selfish and uncaring, blah, blah blah.

But I don't see the problem with HAVING a problem with those who are just plain lazy.

And when Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, bought a house in 2005, Mr. Rezko stepped in again. Even though his finances were deteriorating, Mr. Rezko arranged for his wife to buy an adjacent lot, and she later sold the Obamas a 10-foot-wide strip of land that expanded their yard.

* the Rezko's paid almost as much for that lot as the Obama's paid for their house & lot. The same person was selling both lots and this was just an easy way for Obama to afford a bigger house.

Why do we need politicians and officials to represent the people? Sure it made sense when our forfathers wrote the constitution, but now we have the telephone, internet, and other communication devices that can connect us to anyone? Could civilians just vote on the issues over the internet, then we dont need a politician to make the decision, it is all done over the computer!!! This would be just like a city hall voting, and is the ideal situation for a democracy.

I am trying to determine if I want/need a trademark to protect a design that I have. First, it is a saying logo. For example, let's say I use the word HELLO but instead of the O I use a peace sign. I intend to take this hello logo and make it into a pendant and to put it on a T shirt. I can trademark it through my state, but how does that protect me and how does it work? Does it mean no one else in the state can use my logo or sell it without my permission? The design I have is locally/state based so I don't care if people in another state want to knock it off. I just wouldn't want people in my state to have access to this design unless it goes through me. Also, I had a second design that was getting made into a custom iron-on. I was supposed to get a quote only for the minimum of 100 pcs. The guy made the design and is know telling me he will sell it to others if I don't get 1000. Can I do the TM since the state back dates if the design has not been registered by anyone?

The phrase "No Taxation Without Representation" might not implicitly apply to modern day circumstances, but the underlying idea that taxation without citizens consent is to be strictly prohibited most definitely applies. Unfortunately I feel that my state and federal tax contributions are being poorly mismanaged and as a paying citizen, I want to make a change.

Are we over taxed, and . . .

Which 2008 nominee (so far) has the best tax reduction plan, and has the best voting history record and experience for managing my contributions?

the mormon sect Church of Christ of Latter Saints in Colorado encourages relatives to marry one another causing severe genetic defects with their offsprings. it's really gross, even though there's plenty of scientific evidence to support that marrying relatives can cause genetic defects, the people living inside that mormon sect continue to marry amongst themselves. it's really gross.

I was recently pulled over by a state police in what looks like his personal car with flashers in the grill. (A Mercedes Benz SUV) Anyway he seemed a little pissed off that I did not pull over right away because I was trying to verify with 911 if it was a real police officer. When he pulled me over he had a local on duty state trooper stop by. The trooper then gave him a ticket book and he wrote me three tickets. If anyone could help me out with some answers here I would appreciate it. Also if you can refer any lawyers in the Middlesex county area that can actually win this case I would appreciate it. (I'm not looking for a plea bargain lawyer I would rather fight it unless I am absolutley wrong.

We know the Repubs were the only thing that kept this from passing the first time. Partisan politics aside - I hate the Dem support of this bill and have contacted every Dem in Congress expressing my extreme dissatisfaction.

Reid has said he would revive the measure if at least 20 more Republicans commit to moving ahead with the broad immigration bill. It stalled last week when only seven GOP senators supported a Democratic bid to limit debate and expedite a final vote.

Reid expressed optimism that negotiators would strike a deal that could pave the way.

This makes me sick, Americans do not want this but the politicians could care less. Do you think Bush talked enough Repubs into changing their minds and passing the bill?

What did Saddam Hussein ever do to you and America?

It struck me that the loss of American lives should at least be the result of an attack or threat to America and Americans....

If you have swallowed the 'we are over there so that they are not fighting over here....', then, well you are a lost cause to humanity.

Sadly Dems don't have a truly significant lead in power so they sitll have to rely on Republicans. Because of this good money needed for useful things is still getting pulled out to go for things in Iraq.

Many people on here keep saying that money for Iraq is separate buit that is not true. It has to come from somewhere. New money wasn't simply created for Iraq. That money was taken from something that we needed.
