he reports there from his AIT at the end of sept...also, is fort bragg nice??? my main concern is deployment though

I work at the hospital on Fort Bragg so of course I know a lot about the area. A majority of the base is deploying, has been deployed, or is ramping up for deployment. Fayetteville is allright to live in, but living in the surrounding areas is better. I live in Hope Mills and the schools are great, no traffic and the housing areas are for the most part much nicer.

There are many units at Ft Bragg and they don't deploy at the same time. No way to tell which one he is in (or will be).
Hope he volunteered for Airborne school Life as a "LEG" is tough there.
Some people serve there whole careers there and love it.

Some of them are in Afghanistan right now.
Fort Bragg is a busy place with more than one mission.
Not a bad place to live, there is a lot of tradition there.

I think you will love n.carolina my folks have a small house in the mountains there and it is really pretty . good luck.live in the surrounding areas of fort bragg . someone down on said hope mills I totally agree . good luck .

I dont know much about the base I have only been their a few times. but their is a bunch of stuff to do in NC its not too far from the the capital so their will be tons to do their. you mentioned museums well their you go plus. plus carolina beach is like o2 1/2 hrs away
