People are upset about gas prices going up. Democrats say they will investigate. Democrats also want to increase the gas tax. Increasing the gas tax will increase the price of gas.

Does this mean it is OK to raise the price of gas only if the Democrats benefit from it?

When I was young it seemed that life was so wonderful. . .
A miracle. . .. oh it was beautiful, magical
And all the birds in the trees, they'd be singing so happily.. . .
Joyfully. .. playfully watching me

But they sent me away to teach me how to be sensible. . .
Logical. . . Responsible, Practical
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable
Clinical. . .Intellectual, Cynical

There are times. . . when all the worlds asleep
the questions run so deep.. . for such a sim-ple man
Won't you please. . . please tell me what we've learned
I know it sounds absurd . . .. Please tell me who I am

Now watch what you say. . or they'll be calling you a Radical. . . A Liberal.. . fanatical, criminal
Won't you sign up your name , we'd like to feel you're acceptable. .. . respectable.. . presentable, a vegetable

At night.. when all the worlds asleep.. . the questions run so deep. .for such a sim-ple man. .. . . . . .. .. .

Isn't this really all part of growing-up ? Logical ?

Angelina was thought of by many as a freak. She is an admitted "cutter" and wore vials of Billy Bob Thornton's blood around her neck...and let's not forget about the "kiss" with her BROTHER on national TV.
She adopts and hold a few orphans for pictures and all of a sudden the press has her as the next Mother Theresa.

Would this help Hillary?

Let's try to be more creative than banning/allowing abortion etc......

I personelly would repeal the 16th amendment (income tax). Then I would pass legislation instituting the fair tax (consumption tax).

Out of control federal spending, record budget deficits, not even one serious attempt at curtailing "social spending", a dramatically falling dollar, sex scandals that make Clinton's look normal and tame, gaining entry into an popular war that melted into an unpopular chaotic police action, I mean, seriously, how can ANYONE now take the Republican party seriously.

Simple fact, there is nothing to be proud of Bush for, whilst there is a lot to be proud about America. Agree

In Modern History we got talking about Republicanism in Australia and it just got me thinking again. I'm all for a republic nation - and I think it's well overdue. The class was divided.

I don't believe that we should we remain loyal to a country whose government was responsible for the dispossession of our Indigenous people. There's more, but I don't want to ramble.

What I'm asking for, is your opinion :)
