Even though I don't like Paris (I would like to do her) give her community service and fine her 25,000 or something. Her spending time in jail does nothing to benefit society.

I think its BS that murderers have gone free but I don't feel sorry for "poor Paris" as you say. Your "average Joe" would have faced the same consequences [if not more severe] had they been repeatedly pulled over for traffic violations on a SUSPENDED license.

i didn't know that Paris Hilton was above the law?
what she did was wrong. And i am sure the judge has sentenced many others for the same time, for the same offence and probably heard the same excuses.

If only, Paris had a better excuse (she could afford it) The judge may have considered lessoning her conviction?

Well... Scott Peterson is sitting on death-row, and we executed Stanley Tookie Williams. OJ walked because of fears in LA about more ethnic rioting if they convicted him.

I think Miss Hilton's 45 days (for violating her PROBATION from her traffic violation) is just about right.

Folks get jail time EVERYDAY for violating probation... only PARIS makes the news !

Ronnie,

Naw, Paris gets what she deserves. A traffic violation? If she slammed into a old lady at a crosswalk because she (Paris) was DUI then I guess we're supposed to say "Poor Paris, no jail, this is the price that we have to pay to keep her in the spotlight...................poor Paris".

Because Paris Hilton is really annoying, almost as annoying as people who idolize her. That woman has probably never read a book in her entire life.

They put her in jail for violating her probation, so no, I don't think it's BS. If the twit can't understand what she can and can't do while on probation, than she deserves to spend some time in jail.

Let's see she was caught TWICE driving on a suspended license, while on probation, and failed to enroll in the mandatory alcohol education program that was part of her probation....then shows up 20 minutes late to court for her hearing AND blames it on her publicist.......

A little above the law feeling? I think so -- I don't feel bad for her one bit. Being tall, blonde, skinny, and STUPID does not make one above the law.

The really sad thing is she's appealing the decision. Average Joe's and Jane's can't appeal probation violations.
