have the goverment buy out and operate these guys becuase it's something far to important to our country to leave it in the hands of profiteers with no desire to operate in such a manner that is benifical to the us's best intrests, instead they operate on pofits alone, which is alright for any company that's not dealing in an essential comodity, take for example if a company owned the rights to air (assuming it wasnt free hypothetical question people stay focused) do you believe
that a private company should have that sort of power over people? or should it be governed by the elected officals that
we the people have placed in a postion with our trust and scrutitany?

My husband hurt his foot 5 years ago and has had 4 surgeries on it. The military says he will never be able to run again and they may MED him out (medical discharge). And if he doesn't MED him he ETS's December. Our Property Managers (Merit Co.) is saying that we still have to ride out our lease, but my husband is the soul money bearer in the family. We can't afford to stay here also because we would go back to his home of record (oklahoma) Is there anything we can do about this? Where is the support for military these days?

If Iraq gets to the point of a draft, do you think it's supporters should be forced to go over the ones who say it is immoral and a lost cause? Is it fair to force people who NEVER supported Iraq to fight and die for the guys who got us into Vietnam II (I am not saying Iraq is lost, I am saying it is controversial)?

I have been having differences of opinion from my family for a long time. It has been years. I have been put through a lot by my family and I can't take it anymore. The main reason for my wanting to leave is there is always screaming at me in my house. I suffer from migraines and when stress comes on I get severe migraines which causes me to miss school. Anyone who suffers from migraines know that they are debilitating. My question is how could I be emancipated in Pennsylvania. I am 15 turning 16 in 2 months. I'm sure my father could let me live on my own but what I need to know is how much money I need to make a month in order to live on my own. I have a job now where I only make $150 a month but as I turn 16 more jobs will open up for me that will pay more. All advice or information is appreciated as this is a very important subject for me. Many thanks.

year for his surge plan? Did he knowingly mislead Congress by saying he wanted only 30,000 and not 65,000 because he knew asking for 65,000 would meet with greater resistance? And is the current number of 65,000 for his troop surge honest? Three months from now, will he ask for yet another 35,000 troops for a total of 100,000 "surge"? When will bush's lies end?

shes quite exspensive to run and costs the tax payer a lot of money that could be better spent on health and education bt your country has a lot of money so you would be doing us a great favour if you kept her.

We all know they deserve it, get on with it already! Alberto Gonzales and the US attorney flap is just a diversion! Smoke and mirrors! I say that Pelosi and her money-grabbing buddies are just soaking up the power and glory and failing to act on their obligations to the American people to bring down this political shame that is festering on us.

I was wondering, do regular traffic cops carry business cards? If so what would they need them for?

I came across this statement from the #1 dirt bag, Paris Hilton:

"It's really annoying. They're like, `What's your phone number? Want to go to dinner?' They won't even give me a ticket. They just pull me over, and the paparazzi, of course, take a picture. All the time. I have so many cops' business cards."

This just really burns me up! This is the equivalent of having an evil Sesame Street! When I was in high school, there was this little day care center next to the school that had a bunch of poorly drawn Disney characters all over the side of it. After a few years, the Disney corporation found out about it, don't ask me how, anyway, they sent their Army of lawyers into this predominantly black day care and were threatening all manner of lawsuits etc. Where are they now? They can't sue Hamas, well, they could, but so what, but they CAN sue the broadcasting company for copyright infringment. Follow up to my story, Hanna Barbera heard about the day care center's woes (don't know how) and sent in PROFESSIONAL animators to paint HB characters all over the place for the kids, way to go YOGI BEAR! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070508/ap_on_re_mi_ea/palestinians_hamas_mickey_mouse

Curious if I have a case against a negligent landlord. Here's the details: We moved into a rental house. Within a few days, we had PG&E come out and show us how to use the pilot light on heater. He said the gas heater was never cleaned in 50 years. He cleaned it as much as he could. Later that day, it caught fire. It blew smoke into our 6 month-old baby's room. There was a smoke detector in it, but it never went off (we tested it, and it did go beep). Fire trucks came and fixed furnace. We had a pro heater company come out,and said the hole thing was a health hazad - the dirtiest heater he's ever seen, electrical tape holding the ducts together, holes in pipes, plugged up gas stems (he said it could have exploded since it was collecting gas), and on and on. Landlord never installed all the fire alarms, and the ones installed didn't work. Also, water heater had an outtake for the fumes that was removed, so it was pushing carbon dioxide into house. Issues with electrical too. Thoughts?
