I was wondering, do regular traffic cops carry business cards? If so what would they need them for?

I came across this statement from the #1 dirt bag, Paris Hilton:

"It's really annoying. They're like, `What's your phone number? Want to go to dinner?' They won't even give me a ticket. They just pull me over, and the paparazzi, of course, take a picture. All the time. I have so many cops' business cards."

Alot of cops have a generic card where they can write there name or badge number on it. The card normaly gets a report number wrote onit and a number where you can reach some one at the dept for questions you might have.

Some do but I wouldnt think they all have them. I worked for a printing company cutting business cards for 13 years and most policemens cards were detectives or ones who were the head of their department.

my husband does, he gives them to victims to call him if they recall anything or need to get some assistance with domestic violence, like a shelter or counseling. He also puts their incident number on the card so that the person can refer to the case number later if future litigation and or legal action needs to take place.

Yes they do. They give them to people who may have to contact him regarding a case he is working on. It usually has his name, and the phone number of the police station where he is assigned.
