He was going on and on and on about liberal commissions and liberal conspiracy and liberal this or that with derision and lots of anger, but, really didn't have an ISSUE to dicuss, or a matter, coming up on the hill to speak about. People, if this is what motivates you, it is wasted energy and FULL of anger and malice. I found it distasteful, pious to a fault, and full of emotion without any thought really. Oh yes, he mentioned WACO as a milestone of some sort. (It was mass suicide by a cult nut, but somehow, this was anti-liberal stuff). Come on America, you can do better!

Both wars are iewed by the majority of Americans as major mistakes.

Many brave and decent American men and women died in these wars.

Far more U.S. servicemen died in Vietnam (at least that is true at this moment), but that is not the only measure by which to judge the level of error in these two wars.

Which one was the worse mistake for the United States?

I think that the basic structure of our society is inherited from the 19th century, and worked well then. For example a large number of media outlets held in diverse hands made it difficult for any one owner to supress truth - and this acted in a cleansing way to bring scandal to light. Now, however, media, for example, has grown monolithic, and therefore prone to manipulation, and doesnt act in the healthy cleansing way of old. An example, in the last 30 years is to compare the Watergate scandal, with that of the invasion of Iraq. The overall structure of society even only 30 years ago (especially the widespead ownership of the media then) operated to heal a wrong and bring down entrenched power, while today a concentrated media prevents a debate from reaching the required strengh to do this even in the event of a war arguably convened for the benefit of special interests.
Special interests are a constant - society needs to act automatically to keep them in place. How?

Is there any evidence that their firings were motivated by anything other than the desire of the Bush administration to shelter crooks from being prosecuted?

Disgraced former Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham was convicted of bigtime bribery and is now serving his time in Federal Prison. Was US attorney Carol Lam fired in revenge by the Bush-Rove-Cheney clique, embarrassed to have one of theior pals exposed as a crook?

If so you might wish to answer a current question pertaining
to the Pledge of Allegiance. My views have been getting
hammered. I could use your thumbs up vote.

Look for: should we not remove under god from the pledge
of allegiance ? Just the fact that person did not use any caps
is bothersome.

Dear Winner
Your lottery winnings have been verified and certified valid. Lottery clearance Certificate that provides me legal proves that you are the true winner. I must say you are a very lucky person, big congratulation on your winning.
I acknowledge the receipt of your email apropos the claiming of your lottery winning. I hereby pledge my commitment and devotion as exhorted by Mr. Richard Smith. Wolf to assist you legally as long as you go with the ethics and modus operand of the legal profession.
You are privileged to have ALLAN WOODS [LEGAL PRACTITIONERS]-one of the biggest in GB, as your Attorney.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRE BY BRITISH GOVERNMENT ARE:
1). Anti-fund Clearance Registration Certificate,
2). Affidavit of Fund Release Registration Document,
3). B.T.F.D Registration Documents,
4). Fund Affidavit of Claim.
We shall provide the lottery board with the mentioned substantial Documents, which immunizes the release of your fund against the suppose deadline law enforcement agents.
It is against our etiquette not to charge attorney fees. Since this is tantamount to travesty on the professionalism of the legal career. It is like inviting a Doctor free (without paying consultation fees), but paying for drugs alone. Mr. Richard Smith. Wolf have appealed that my Attorney fee of £3,060GBP would be paid when you have received your winnings in your account, his intervention paralyses me to that effect, such that I am left with no choice but to render the service complimentary (free) except the fee charge for the registration of the documents to release your total winning prize of $1,623,002.01USD by the British Government.
You are ergo required ipso-fact to send £483GBP which is equivalent to 953.654 USDfor immediate registration and processing of all legal documents certifying your claims as requested by British Govt.
Send payment of £483GBP to cover registration of documents with the appropriate authorities.
You are to locate the nearest Western Union pay agent and make payment of £483GBP to the name and address of my finance staff bellow.

Take vacation trips, and stay in 5 star hotels. Especially when there is such a budjet issue. Michigan is already struggeling enough because of our deficit, I just don't understand how elected officials can use taxpayers money to do something like that, I understand offical buisness, but not to catch a tan. What do you think?

How horrible of a terrorist attack/s upon the West will rouse them from their delusion and denial that Islam is peaceful?

Will they obstruct patriotic conservatives all the way up until we start having Muslim magistrates and legislators enacting Sharia law here in the states?

Already we are seeing Muslims getting more and more power here...and they do generally NOT embrace anything other than the autocratic tyranny of Islam...

Will the libs convert to patriotism once they see that their licentious ways and their enjoyment & abuse of freedoms will be encroached upon and cease (instead of protected, as by John Ashcroft and George Bush) under the dystopia of political correctness?
