What a good question! I know that Muslims are encouraged to "invite" others to their faith, but if I remember correctly, I believe that Muhammed said that conversion couldn't be forced. I've never had any Muslims try to convert me, but I've certainly had a lot of so-called Christians try to do that. Their tactics are usually very unappealing, and it's for that very reason that I've often preferred the company of some Muslims I know to that of some Christians.

Muslims are predominantly asian and arab. Persia was where the religion was first cooked up by a prophet (lol) and then spread thought the region and people just added to it as they went along. Christians are just as bad they follow another religion that ws cooked up by a guy who the muslims claim was also a prophet (Jesus) but thats another story. Now the reason that you don't get muslims knocking on your door is because they are quite a racist bunch of people and prefer to deal with people of the same skin tone as their own. Easy answer. Christians on the other hand are desperate to get as many members as they can because people are starting to realise and "lose their faith". Religion is turd and that is why I have treated this question with the upmost contempt. Sorry for all the believers out there but you people are the cause of our problems today. Oh yeh and the reason some Americans are scared that the muslims are going to take them over is because it gets fed to them through the media and politicians about "if we don't go over there and have a war we will have it here on our shores" crap. Do you know that there are over a billion Muslims in the world today? I am sure if they all were trying to take over and destroy the US they would be doing a little more than they have already don't you sheep?

The Muslim faith (and I don't mean radical Islam) has higher codes of conduct and standards for behaviour than Christianity. Not as easy to be a hypocritical Muslim...and really...not an easy thing to become a Muslim and follow their teachings and rules. Therefore, I would suggest that Muslims would not see America as a good recruiting ground for their religion...

Knocking on my door, it depends where you live I mainly get it by those who are "enlightened". Within the past 2 weeks, none I mainly get hit by the Christians, and those commercials around 3 am.

Islam doesn't seem to have an "evangelical" style of spreading as does Christianity.
