Get out the facts about the death penalty system- convince others.
The death penalty costs much more than life in prison.
The death penalty risks executing innocent people (123 already exonerated) and DNA is available in less than 10% of all homicides. It is not a guarantee against the execution of innocent people.
The death penalty is not a deterrent. Most killers do not even think they will be caught (if they think at all). Homicide rates are higher in states with the death penalty.
Life without parole is now on the books in 48 states. It means what it says. Supermax prisons are terrible places to spend the rest of your life.
The death penalty can be very hard on families of murder victims.
The death penalty does not apply to the worst of the worst. It applies to defendants with the worst lawyers.
48% of Americans prefer life without parole and 47% prefer the death penalty. We are learning.

Capital punishment is not strict enough. If they would make the punishment fit the crime maybe some of it would stop, with the exception of the mentally unstable out there. If we did not have so many bleeding heart liberals in office, that keep on making it easier for the criminals to get away with crimes and letting them just sit in a cell in prison awaiting their death sentence and eating away at our tax dollars, we might slow down the crime rate some, but as far as doing away with capital punishment, I don't think that will ever happen. My personal opinion is that they should bring back public hangings. Don't let these sick individuals get away with lethal injection or the electric chair. They did not hesitate to co-mitt the crime they did, nor did they feel remorse or pitty for those that they killed, so why should we let them off light? If they commit a crime of violence and are sentenced to death, put them on the gallows in front of a couple of hundred people and hang them. No waiting in jail for 10 or 15 years and eating up the tax dollars and costing us more for their upkeep, but straight out, put them down. I know to some people this would seem extreme and cruel, but if this action was taken, I guarantee, a lot of crime would stop, dead in it's tracks.

capital punishment only comes in the most vicious of continued offenses- the only answer is Jesus salvation-repenting of even one lie and letting him into ones heart to forgive and help them and be their friend. John chapter 3 in the words of Jesus
everyone has to worship something-what is a persons god will determine how they live. From an x criminal in mind to a new mind in Christ as ones savior and best friend

Write to the governor of your state, and to your representative in your state legislature.
Get many other people to do the same.
