Cause a war and then win it? Pretend terrorists and then capture them? Or will it be plain out honest politics to finally be honest and help the people?

TEHRAN, Iran - Iranian state TV showed video Wednesday of the 15 British sailors and marines who were seized last week, including a female captive who wore a white tunic and a black head scarf and said the British boats "had trespassed" in Iranian waters. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070328/ap_on_re_eu/british_seized_iran

How disgusting, and how consistent with Islamic culture. Its no coincidence that the woman was the one forced to make a prepared statement. Islamic culture is the epitome of misoginistic insanity, and the war is all about this cultural difference.

The Iranian Muslims were definetly trying to make a cultural statement here...in the most savage possible way....indeed...its no coincidence that such an ugly display was made of a woman.

What specifically caused you to go from nonpolitical/nonpartisan to what you are today? What were the influences? Your parents, Rush Limbaugh, your preacher?

For me, it was yahoo message board and facts. Prior to yahoo, I considered myself a Democrat and had a general sense in what I believed in, but I did not become a full fledged anti-con liberal until I visited yahoo. People were very partisan. I considered myself a moderate for a while, but after some time, I gravitated toward liberalism. I did so because one side would say one thing, the other side would say another. To see who was telling the truth I visited third party sites, and suprise, suprise, liberals were usually right.

For example, to this day, conservatives pass around the lie that one volcanic eruption spews out more CO2 then all human activity combined. Check out the U.S. Geological Survey website and it will tell you human activty actually produces more then 150 times more CO2 then all volcanic activity combined

I got hired to work for X company. I didn't lie on my resume but I'm worried that the background check might show that I was dishonest with them. I've never really held an actual job that req. me to fill out forms for taxes. The jobs that I listed on my resume were family oriented... I just got paid out of their pockets. I also put down on my resume my internships/ volunteer work. I freaking out. My potential boss said that he wanted to see if I've ever been convicted of a crime and if my ssn is valid. I'm a 20 year old college student. All my life I've been in school. Family work was my main ave. to getting $$. Can I use that as an excuse also? Should I worry? What do I do? Please help me.

You would think that, considering all the money Feinstein's family has pocketed by waging global warfare while ignoring the plight of wounded American soldiers, she would show a smidgeon of shame and resign from the entire Senate, not just a subcommittee. Conversely, you'd think she might stick around MILCON to try and fix the medical-care disaster she helped to engineer for the vets who were suckered into fighting her panoply of unjust wars. Being the big democratic liberal she is, should Feinstein step down from the senate for supporting the war and profiting from it?

I tend to believe what I have seen in the documentry An Inconvienent Truth. The info in the film checks out with other sources.

But still, there are some who think that Gore's claims are inaccurate or simply wrong.

I thought this was a question worth asking here.

So is global warming for real?

After all, it's not being used, anyway! Same with the bill of rights. Let's just burn those two things. While we're at it, let's through the flag in there! YES, now we're living up to what our great globalist leaders expect from us! Mmmm... mind-numbing high from destruction of the American foundation...mmmm. Oink.

Because when the Democrats cut off funding to THAT immoral war, we heard the same thing we're hearing now.

"If we don't fight the commies in Southeast Asia, we will be fighting them here."

The weapons change, the brown people change, the resources change. But the lies remain the same.

I hope Bush does not veto this pork barrel poka package that our spineless Congress and Senate have sent foward.
I can't wait to see what will happen whitten a year of our troops leaveing Iraq.I will go out on a limb here and put it down so that we can look back and say wow.
cost of barrel of C oil 150.00$ +
100,000 of Iraq's killed
and we will be hit again within three years but this time it will be much worse.
