How can we, citizens of the USA, reduce the often too long political process that takes to elect....?

a fellow citizen? Who is tired of all the rhetoric we get from politicians, newcasts, reporters, all who are only doing their JOB?

Nope, sorry, but it needs to be drawn out. Our government was designed to move slowly in all aspects. That way no one does anything rash.

The rhetoric does get old, though. I get tired of it, too, but its still better than the alternatives.
