When your objective is to destroy the country economically and destroy its constitution, the first ones sacrificed are the men and women who would give their lives to protect those things. Demoralize the military, blame it on the capitalists, and then garner their support as you will need them for the final blow to the freedoms of the citizens.

And would you please stop calling them liberals, they are socialists through and through, to call them liberals gives them some respectability that they do not deserve.

the democrats are on a mission, they will stop at nothing to get a liberal in the white house in 08. this means the more troops killed the better they look. if we succeed in Iraq then bush would be looked upon as a great president so the democrats want us to lose at any cost. hey! come to think of it that's the same mission the terrorist are on

Why would you spend your time baiting liberals, rather than finding solutions that work for everyone? Just because they place their priorities on different aspects of the same problems you face, doesn't make them the enemy. Political parties are not sports teams- the only way one can win is if both win. Mindlessly arguing with emotional rhetoric isn't going to change any minds, and you know it. Why waste time dividing the country further?

A Straw Man argument is a type of logical fallacy, used to derail the topic by putting the other side on the defensive. The best you can hope for in employing such a tactic is a tie; because it forces you off topic too. Do you ever want to get anything done, or do you simply enjoy trolling for unproductive arguments?

I agree that there are democrats on the hill that would rather see us lose the war so that they can win the election. I'm sure liberals won't agree but I know the hardcore left doesn't wan't this war to end with our victory. I'm not saying they want more of our soldiers to die but it looks better for them if we have heavier losses.

deaths are never positive for democrats or republicans.... that's just stupid

what is positive for Americans is that America is getting tired of this "stay the course and continue to get your asssed kicked policy" in Iraq.....

if Bush was a capable president..... mission accomplished on a boat in San Diego wearing a monkey suit would have actually meant mission accomplished!!!!!

my question for you is: when did it become OK to support a policy that is killing Americans for nothing?????

Because before the invasion they were saying,

"Don't Do It!"

Republicans didn't listen and now every death reminds everyone that the Democrats were right all along.
