O.J.Simpson did NOT commit those murders...but, my hubby and I don't discuss this aloud...it isn't a popular vote...but, what do you think? DO you think that it might actually be possible that somebody else did this, and that the police screwed up,and wrecked the evidence...and that the whole court case was a complete waste of time...and not to mention a "sham"?!!!? in so many ways?
Yes or no,,and why or why not?

Order derived through submission and maintained by terror is not much of a safe guarantee; yet that is the only "order" that governments have ever maintained. True social harmony grows naturally out of solidarity of interests. In a society where those who always work never have anything, while those who never work enjoy everything, solidarity of interests is non-existent; hence social harmony is but a myth. The only way organized authority meets this grave situation is by extending still greater privileges to those who have already monopolized the earth, and by still further enslaving the disinherited masses. Thus the entire arsenal of government--laws, police, soldiers, the courts, legislatures, prisons,--is strenuously engaged in "harmonizing" the most antagonistic elements in society.

The most absurd apology for authority and law is that they serve to diminish crime. Aside from the fact that the State is itself the greatest criminal, breaking every written and natural law, stealing in the form of taxes, killing in the form of war and capital punishment, it has come to an absolute standstill in coping with crime. It has failed utterly to destroy or even minimize the horrible scourge of its own creation. Crime is naught but misdirected energy. So long as every institution of today, economic, political, social, and moral, conspires to misdirect human energy into wrong channels; so long as most people are out of place doing the things they hate to do, living a life they loathe to live, crime will be inevitable, and all the laws on the statutes can only increase, but never do away with, crime.

The people of the USA are sick of protecting the Iraq government if they refuse to help. They expect the USA to protect them, but they refuse to help. Americans are sick of defending a country of that refuses to help protect theirself.

News cast after news cast shows a division of happy and appreciative Iraqi people, and Soldiers volunteering for their 3rd and 4th tours. I know many are involuntarily extended, but what about those that want to be there to help, and the people there that want the US to stay for fear of what will heppen if we pull out, and we all know what that is.

It seems like if someone was causing your culture to be generally looked down upon, you'd encourage the trouble makers to straighten up and fly right. Of couse, people shouldn't judge all Hispanics by the actions of 8.5 million illegal immigrants but you know it's happening. So, how DO you feel about it?

They knew about Bin Laden from the start. They had 8 months. Instead, Bush chose to go on vacation as soon as he was elected president. The Clinton administration had little evidence on Bin Laden and he would have only been extradited to Saudi Arabia anyway.
But the Bush administration has no excuse. They didn't take the threat seriously. And look at the problems they have caused!
Why didn't they take the threat seriously??

Many people believe that 9/11 was executed by someone other than Muslim extremists and OBL.Bush and his neo conservative and zionists friends seem to be the target of those accusations . On the surface these conspiracy theorists feel they are exposing the villians , so as to prosecute the actual guilty people ( Bush,Zionists, Illuminati , NWO, whoever). Many people are so disillusioned and hopeless , they feel nothing short of major revolution would bring about the reversal of the control that the government and these establishments unrightly has over their lives . The problem is however , this revolution would further empower the government to crack down on people and further consolidate their power . The most profound example of this type of thing happening occured with the Bolshevik revolution . Many anarchists were in full support of Lenin and friends , however the end result was famine and oppression unequalled in the annuls of history .

I have to write an essay on what I think truley happened that day. After doing research, I had thought I had came to a conclusion. LBJ and Kennedy had not been agreeing on more than a few things, and when it came time for Kennedy to re-run for president rumors had flown that Johnson was not going to be his VP. If Kennedy was dead, Johnson would be president, and could also run for reelection for the upcoming 4 years. Johnson did have the limo cleaned out after the assassination. Why? I think that Johnson hired Jack Ruby and the mafia (oswald being involved) . Why else would Ruby kill Oswald the day he was to go on trial? Was a secret about to come out of Oswald? As for the conspiracy or a lone shooter..i've been led to believe it was a conspiracy. One from the book depository, and one from the grassy knoll. Witnesses from right beside the grassy knoll say they actually felt it over their heads.

What are your thoughts on the assassination? Do you think my theory could be possible?

My impression is that this bizarre phenomenon is entirely attributable to partisanship -- the tendency to buy every single article of faith put forward by a particular party unquestioningly, if you buy one.

Note: A little reasoned argument, versus name-calling, will be viewed as refreshing.

Submitted for your consideration:

Group 2: Those who are in favor of sending more young Americans to get their limbs blown off in a very pointless war, which only succeeds in creating more violence.

I get the Immigrations processed confused and need someone to draw me a picture if anyone can. (my husband was deported and excluded for 10 years. The only crime he committed was illegal entry into the country).

Sen. John McCain recently asked on this site for your suggestions on how to reduce wasteful government spending.

Answer no. 257 suggested "Elect a democratic president to the Whitehouse in 2008". In view of the powers that Bush has given himself under the Patriot Act, which allow him to ignore the wishes and votes of democratically elected members Congress, I thought that this was a fair and balanced observation.

So I was astonished to see that only 1 person had given it a "thumbs up", whilst 9 had given it a thumbs down.

My questions:

Is this yet another indication that Americans really don't care what the US president does, at home or abroad, just as long as he preserves the American way of life?

Do American voters realise that George Bush has more dictatorial power in the US than Hugo Chavez has in Venezuela?
