Clinton wasn't convicted of anything. He was impeached in the House, acquitted in the Senate.He never had a trial by jury on a single charge. You might more properly compare Libby to Martha Stewart, also convicted of lying to the FBI.
She went to prison, so should Libby. Hes no more special, and probably more dangerous, since he is actually a lawyer and political animal and should have known better on every level, than Martha, whose previous knowledge and business was that of souffles.

The only thing Scooter Libby did that was illegal, is he was a Republican in D.C.
The Democrats have not turned to political persecution of those that don't agree with their ideas.

I agree......felons did the crime, they should do the time.

High gov't officials that lie, and do other criminal acts....need to go to jail. No pardons, no deals, no parole.

That applies to officials in both parties.

Perjury about a crime that was not committed? Serious crime there. He will win his appeal the trial was a farce and the jury did not even know what the charges were.
