Should I report a spreeding driver to Crimestoppers or to our local Police? I want to stay anonymous as this chap is a likeable bloke but when he gets behind the wheel he is downright dangerous. Every night he takes his girl-friend home, about 5 miles away down winding country roads, with speed-limits, and he seems to be trying to beat his own record. He has got it down from 29 mins to 17! Something has to be done to stop him before he kills himself, his girl-friend or some other innocent person. Can't say anything to him myself - he's young, I'm old, so he'll probably tell me to mind my own business.

Think critically. If we own our lives shouldn't euthanasia/suicide, drug use, or selling ourselves be legal? Or is life an inalienable right that no man may destroy even if it is your own?

Am I right on this?:

Now I don't claim to be on either side of the fence and my intent is not to smear either side, but here are the "general" beliefs I see that is brought by both:

1) Libs claim to stick to the constitution, laws, and freedom of the nation, and want punishment of those who break them (even if it is the president). But in doing so, security can't be attained as effectively because laws can restrict critical security needs. They believe in freedom there is security.

2) Cons claim that security of the future is more important, and is more willing to attain it even at the expense of some freedoms and overstepping some laws, because they believe in security there is freedom.

P.S. Tell me if I have it right and give explanation to correct me. No insults plz. Thanks.

I am thinking of the Road Vehicles (Construction And Use) Regulations 1986 and related legislation, and perhaps non-specific legislation regarding provision of information in cases of product liability.

Why do we pump primary shool children full of information that we, as adults, think important they know at an ever younger age?
So from when they start primary shool do away with all the lessons that adults find so important and replace them with each class doing a 'Question Time' class of say half a morning or afternoon a week.
Have the children agree to let pre-determined pupils to prepare a question for the next classes and that way children will learn what they are ready for.
Fair enough, some questions some pupils will not be ready for, and others will be beyond others but the children will learn from eachother. And allowing them to do it in a class situation. Allow a discussion to develop in the class for the older ones and in my opinion children would thrive in this kind of environment.
Don't tell them what they want to know. Allow them to ask what they want to know and take take serious time to listen. What you think?

I'm thinking of suing someone. In 2002, I co-signed on a car loan application with a "friend." Needless to say, the"friend" did'nt make the payments and, wound up losing the car. I'm want to sue because, I had made payments on the car, and becuase, this "friend" had acquired tickets on it. I thought I had paid off all the tickets 2 years ago, when I just received another ticket in the mail 3 days ago. Financially, I can't afford a lawyer. I make too much money for legal aid in my state ($12,000 or less in illinois). I've spoken to a few lawyers only to be told there's nothing they can do. Have I passed the statute of limitations? How can I pursue this.
