WMD not found. Saddam hanged. US got what it wanted but it continues to occupy Iraq. Peace is nowhere in the war ravaged country. Will it be better if US just left now for the Iraqis to manage their affairs?

Because I think both of them suck... Hopefully America will come to its senses and actually consider independent candidates in 08 instead of just voting for "their" party and letting the government gradually take control of every aspect of our lives...

Is it because there is a fear that non-gays will harm the gays? Or that the gays will not be treated equally by military leaders? We all know that there are probably a few thousand gay soliders in our military right now and many fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are intelligent and strong enough to go through the training and to be deployed. So why is knowing that they are gay or not make a difference?

I am looking for honest answers as to what the military, governmental rules are. If you want to be just rude about it, please keep your comments to yourself. Thank you!

I am currently on probation for a first DWI. I am off in August, but I have been extended due to a minor previous violation, failure to contact after I moved. So a 2 year prob. has turned into three. Today I failed a UA, so I am gonna have to go before the judge. Realistically, what is likely going to happen to me? If I take it upon myself to check into a rehab before I go before the judge, is that going to improve my situation any? What is likely to happen then?

Just moved into our first home 6 months ago. Ive befriended several neighbors and all 5 have told me to "be careful" with one particular neighbor next door to me. The man is about 50-ish, lives alone, has some mental problems (vietnam or whatever), has two cats of his own. 3 neighbors have told me he was "very strange". One neighbor warned me that the guy in question threatened to kill his teenage daughter. And another neighbor told me she has found her cat in this mans house on more than one occasion. I find that strange and so did our neighbor. This man in question has been reported to the police several times with nothing to come of it (before we moved in). Today, my wife and I were looking for our cat and I saw him run out of this mans house (actually he's a renter). So what can I do? Would calling the cops help out? Do I put a restraining order on this man? Arent there some sort of disclosure laws when buying a house? Especially since theres a track record of this guy? Now what?

These are military channel commercials. I know they're all a little different from base to base but they're all about giving you extremely obvious advice such as "use a kleenex when blowing your nose", and "bend your knees when lifting heavy objects", or "be careful when jumping on trampolines".

My newest favorite is this one where a guy comes home to his dorm room with a small fire going on. He runs to get the fire extinguisher but it's not working - he then gets a flashback of when he had fun using the extinguisher in the yard watching the stuff blow in the wind... so he runs to get a bottle cap of water to try to put the fire out, then he gets a fan to blow on it... then he tries Windex - he finally realizes there's nothing he can do and runs down the hall with his hands flailing in the air. Then the narrator comes on and says "DON'T WASTE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS". Ohmigoodness.

their child is automatically a U.S. citizen. But isn't their child also a Mexican citizen because it's parents are Mexican citizens? I read once about 4 yrs ago that an American couple went to Canada and she was 8 months pregnant. She gave birth while in Canada and their baby girl was automatically a Canadian citizen but also an American citizen because her parents are. They had no problem bringing her home to the states after the hospital released the mother and the baby and the parents had to sign 3 papers at a court house. Their daughter will always have citizenship in Canada and America. So why can't America have it like this with Mexico and after a Mexican couple has a kid here, send the whole family back to Mexico?

Sharpton may run. Or he may not. Obama is off to a great start, but I think he'll fade as things progress.

Which of these two politicians would make a better President?

I believe some guy named "Rutt, push, oh yea, Rush" was one of the biggest people saying this, and William Jefferson Clinton was nominated, and re-vitalized the Democratic Party. And won two terms, even after the Republicans spent 80,000,000.00 investigating if he had sex with an ugly woman.

I am going to be taking a year off from schooling and want to get involved with humanitarian aid. Is there an organization that takes volunteers? I would like to help. How? I was thinking areas like Darfur need it badly...i do understand how dangerous the country is right now but there must be some need for help with refugee camps that are set up in Chad, right? or is there just nothing i can do but give money? thanks
