as an example you can use my father , brother or my country.

It is a good idea for young adults to serve their country. First , young adult protect their country by joining to the military forces. joint forces help to secure country from direct attack through military activities overseas, planing and exucution of homeland defense and support to civil authorities. Furthurmore, they help deal with catastrophic emergencies from terrorist acts as well as from explosions, fires, natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods, and infections diseases, which are much more likely to occur.

I asked this exact question in late January '07. I would like to get your opinion now (mid March 2007) on how likely it is that Obama will be the Democratic candidate for President in 2008. I'm curious if opinions have changed.

once you finish your time in the Navy, army, marines etc do you get a good job after?alot of people say that you will get a great job after. Why is that some people that get out of the military work at a fast food and they say the navy, army etc was just a waist of their time? The reason im asking is because my husband wants to join Then navy.He wants to be a mechanic or engineer, but if he decides not to re enlist what are the chances of him getting a good job in the civilian life?or is he better off not joining. He wants to join to serve his country and wants a career that will payoff. No i know military life wont make us rich! But we do want to have a good life ya kn0w.So what do you think about this?He just might make the navy his career?I just want to support him!If you have any advice please let me know.Thank you

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine. She was all excited cause she got a notification letter saying she won some random drawing and a check.

The letter said to call the agent to provide additional details on how to collect the rest of the prize.

Now the question:

She's not here legally but she has the ITIN number that the IRS provided her to report her taxes. If they ask for her social, should she use that number or is she screwed?!

Also the letter says that the prize is non-transferable. I would help her but can't do. Sucks!

Thanks! She would really appreciate this and me too!

My brother was also abused physically and mentally by the same man between the ages of 5 and 15. He is now 30. Some of this is documented with my psychologist and once with the local police. I have not felt strong enough to bring charges against him until now. It has affected my confidence and my ability to relate to men in particular. Any answers on whether it is still possible to pursue this matter would be appreciated and is it worth seeking legal advice.

From Falwell blaming the towers fall on gays to the faith based chairtys who get everyones tax money now living off of the taxes gays pay maybe they who espouse such shuld lose their tax free status and no Faith Based chairty money either.
Take away the deducution for religon from all americans.
Close all religous based schooling from funds and even from parents who send children their to lose that tax break for endangering the lives and welfare of American citizens.
Tired of puttting up with this group of right wing nuts with left had threads constant barrage of telling everyone else in world what to believe and lying to try and make themselves appear as holier than the rest of world.
Why should they get tax breaks for saying that everyone else in nation who is not of their faith is unworthy of not just living here buthas a right to live at all.
Would be better for nation if they went into their own closets AND CLEANED THEM OUT FIRST!

In the car with my best friend. She got pulled over found out I she had a warrant, and at the time didn't have proof of insurance in her car. Nightmare of a situation. She's didn't go to jail, mysteriously, they let her off with a warning, but she wants me to drive her to court in the morning, because she thinks she's going to jail. If she is, how much is her bail...or is this not a jail situation? What is going to happen? I feel bad for her...cuz she's really struggling right now...how much cash should I bring to help her out?

I was wondering if anyone knew about the American Communist party, and their views on religion.

From what I understand Communism in the USSR, banned religion for decades. Is this a Marxist Ideal? Was it Marx that said "religion is the opium of the masses?" I don't know?

My biggest question is, are there deeply religious people (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, etc.) in the American Communist party, or is that frowned upon?

Also, what's the difference between socialism and communism?
