Well ppl have stopped using Bill Clinton as a major diversion.. used to be everytime they were losing, they would bring up his name.

Now I seem to have noticed more talk about Democrats being defeatists, etc... I think it's an attempt to make Democrats look weak...

Diversion from what? General Pace's comment about 'how he feels about homosexuals?...Halliburton's move...FBI, SOS, Iraq....Turkey, Israel, Iran and Syria talking 'nicely' and business-like with Iraqi leaders... I'm not quite sure what you mean. Haven't caught any diversions...just a lot of accusations and mis management. Is there something else we don't know???? or are you just asking for what we 'do' see.

I know CONGRESS keeps trying to say Bush is going to attack Iran...but Bush says just the opposite. I don't even think Congress knows what they're doing. We don't have enough troops for Iraq, let alone Iran. They're even dropping the resolutions and now say they don't want to 'tie the hands of the generals' nor put time limits. So why the change of venue all of a sudden???? I think maybe their all smoking too much of the same air in that chamber they breath into. Can make for some 'dementia'...ya know?

What really struck me a few years ago was bush administration officials on programs such as 'face the nation' and 'meet the press' and so on. Any time reporters asked them, "in the aftermath of 9/11, what is the administration doing to secure our country against another attack?", the answer was always exactly the same, whether from condi rice, don rumsfeld, cheney etc., "We're tightening security on our southern border with mexico."
HUH?? I didn't know those terrorists were mexicans! No.Did they cross the mexican border? no.
Yet a few years later, the country is up in arms over all the mexicans.
The 9/11 terrorists flew in with their visa and passports, except for one, who crossed the CANADIAN border.
We continue to allow middle easterners to come into the country, but some ppl in Washington don't want us to think about THAT aspect of our immigration policy.
