How is it that, in the most powerful country of the world and a country of free nation and democrocy, a president and his vice, be capable of commiting so many wrong, evil scandalouse moves and get away with it? why people do not take any action when almost %70 are against Bush and his adm. i just don't understand that, why America can not fix it self, when there's a disaster with this magnitude!

I have been asking myself that same question ever since W stole the first election. I'm almost ashamed to admit that I'm an American.The really embarrassing thing is that the uninformed ignorant one issue electorate reelected him. We had people that were so closed minded that they only voted one issue, instead of what was the right thing to do. We have red necks running around afraid they might lose there guns. Like they really need assault rifles to go hunting. There was the religious right who were told the Democrats were heathens. There was the fight over abortion, the fight over evolution vs creation. The republican party did a good job of attack adds against there opponents. We are not a banana republic where the opposition stages a coup and makes a new gov. We Waite until the next election and try to right it then. Unfortunately the people didn't do that the last time. I hope and pray this time the people get it right. But why anyone would want to be president now, and inherit this mess that George W has created, I don't know. I look at the candidates that have announced there intention to run, and none of them make me feel warm and cozy. Although there is a good group of people running. Both Democrats and Republicans. I have Allways voted straight Democrat. This time there is to much on the line not to consider all the options.

Good question! It sounds like you are one of the millions that are able to see through the media's smoke and mirrors. So many of these polls are a complete joke! Any person that has taken a class in statistics knows this is an absolute fact and that information can be skewed. There are not 70% of the people in this country against the war. I think about 30% of the population actually votes - so how did we come up with the 70%?

People are sheep and don't want to see truth. People of this country will not really do the research in to different way of looking at this global situation. Do some browsing to find out what our CIA has been up to over the years.

The American population do won't to see what is really happening in this country. Look up secret societies on the Internet and just follow where it takes you. Look up Illuminati, Skull & Bones, and Freemason. Research names like Bill Meier, and David Icke. Open your mind and do the work to really find what is happining in your own backyard.

There's really nothing the people can do except vote him out. And I think had the Democrats not nominated someone so similar politically to Bush last time around, it would have happened. With the magnitude of the corruption and incompetence of the Bush W. & Cheney administration, it is incomprehensible that we are talking about supporting troops, instead of incarcerating the criminals in the white house. I don't get it.

Obviously, there is more going on under the covers. My bet is that military contractors and weapons systems manufacturers have congressman in a bind. No money for me - no money for your reelection. War means money for them. Have a better theory?
