You've hit the nail on the head. Why do they do that? I don't need to see gay's being intimate anymore then I do straight people. It seems to me that some gays/lesbians like the shock value. I don't appreciate having it shoved down my throat (no pun intended) all the time.

What's the difference between a gay couple being "open about their business" and a straight couple being "open about their business"? In my book there is no difference either way no one wants to see it.

I think they are tired of hiding and want to be accepted as a person, not a category! I do have an issue with their public displays of affection that even heterosexuals won't do generally in public! I really would rather see less of that! I don't think flaunting is having any type of positive effect!

They are just as much open about their business as any other couple. Girls like to show off their stuff, gays like to show off their stuff too. I don't wanna see a skanky yankee's boob fall out anymore than I wanna see.... well nvm. Point is it's their thing. Just because it's not normal to us doesn't mean we have the right to shut them down or out.

Gays wanted to be noticed by people to feel if they are already accepted in public but they are being snubbed.

WHY do people feel the "need" to say ANYTHING about themselves? -Because we're insecure, lonely, -& need to be accepted by the World. So Gays are JUST as guilty as the rest of us who stand up & want to be "counted"for who they ARE. And unfortunately- I think alot of us "need" to be reminded of that... -because they are ALWAYS going to be with us.

most everyone is open about their bussiness i think, you just notice gays maybe because they are different from you? or maybe its because there is a stigma attached to being gay and being proud of who you are in that kind of society is one of the only ways to combat it. maybe both.

I don't know, but look at San Francisco. What a rotting cesspool of filth. Living proof that evil walks the earth.

That's why people CHOOSE to be gay. To be singles out. Yes, I said CHOOSE. They want to be different. It is all about the shock value. I know, I'll show them...I'm now gay!!!!

Too many of them define themselves by their sexuality. I never understood this.
