for the Iraq war? Evidently they aren't having to much of a problem with what the President wants if they are going to add to it! According to the news they are kind of scratching each others backs over this. So I guess President Bush isn't the only one to take the hit on this one?

After all...the man is a drunken deserter that went AWOL.

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," President Bush has apparently flushed his down the toilet. President Bush went AWOL!! Cheney himself also received 5 deferments! Both of these men are “Chicken Hawks.”

Also, what about IN public?

In your judgement, at what age should a person be able to get their license?

Anyone out there have some interesting experiences behind the wheel? I believe 18 is the proper age, by that time most students are in college.

What do you think a person should undergo to get their license?

To those back home
I am gone
yet my memory will go on
kiss the kids I love them so
let them know I had to go
Tell my parents there are no regrets
to those who I fought beside
who came from nation wide
you are all my brothers and sisters
to my bride brush those tears aside
I am here so far yet so near
I am all around in the sky and in the ground
I am in our kids
in your heart
my love caries on
when u need me look to the sky
let your mind fly
I will be there holding your hand
goodbye to those I love
we will meet again one day
we will play in the heavens above

I have been to several funerals of U.S. Army soldiers and U.S. Marines in the past year and have NEVER heard taps played...the Soldier/Marine uses an electronic device in the bugle that plays for him. I went today to the funeral of a U.S. Marine and the bugler was standing across from the Patriot Guard Riders and he didn't even breath as taps was being played! A young school friend of mine who plays trumpet/bugle, etc said she'd be more than happy to play taps FOR REAL. What is with the military anymore that it doesn't have buglers who can play taps?

Based on how we handled the situations in both Iraq and Afghanistan, define the approaches we took. Was it our best interest to act the way we did?
What is a better method of fighting--attack or defend?? and WHY?

See that our Idiot King now wants over 8,000 more troops -- on top of his "surge" -- for Iraq (and Afghanistan). Will he ultimately be the cause of reinstating the draft? Do you think 5-D Cheney will have to finally serve his country?

How will history view the Bush Presidency?

2007-03-10 15:27:14 · 26 answers · asked by corporatetrade 2 in Government

According to just about every POLL, 7 out of 10 Americans strongly disagree and/or dislike BUSH. Sounds right
Hmm...Seven out of Ten. Let me say that again...7 out of 10 do not like George W. Bush.

In just about every random poll taken in the last year or so to the present, George W. Bush gets around a 25% to 33% approval rating...25% to 33%...wow.

That would mean on average that 7 out of 10 Americans do not like him, do not like what he is doing, do not like what he has done. Seven out of Ten. Staggering numbers. To put it in a visual perspective, next time you are waiting in a line or in a crowded public place, count the people around you and do the math.

Does that figure sound about right, and if so, list the primary reason(s) why his approval ratings have remained so far in the basement?
