So what is this about the Democrats adding 10 billion more dollars onto the 100 billion President Bush wants?

for the Iraq war? Evidently they aren't having to much of a problem with what the President wants if they are going to add to it! According to the news they are kind of scratching each others backs over this. So I guess President Bush isn't the only one to take the hit on this one?

I am for giving the military the money, it's better than denying them what they need!

Ever notice, they're talking 2008. Meanwhile they can skate on "It's Bush's war, " and have absolutely no plan.

I think they are trying to load it down so much that the Republicans won't vote for it...

then they can yell "you don't support the troops" at the Republicans... basically using the Republicans tactics against them...

but it may backfire... since the Republicans didn't seem to have much of a problem with pork in the past 6 years?

It could be for preventing Bin Laden lived to be 50. How can we let him live that long? Give Mr. Bush 20 billion more otherwise he wouldn't be able to find Bin Laden before he leaves office.

Bush's proposal was determined to be underfunded. What else is new? There's a pattern of this kind of behavior--got a clue?

Since when is allocating more funds which are directly tied to our TROOPS a bad thing?

They tacked a few things onto this appropriation. It also will include veterans benefits, children's insurance, and more money for New Orleans.

I would rathar complain about all the aid the US gives to every country and for what.
