I was recieving services like medical and cash assistance through the state......when a person recieves this due to pregnancy she needs to establish praterinty to recieve child support through a state agency that handles payments......... i lied and said i did not knopw the father, i lied because i am slightly scared of his alcoholic tendencies and at the time i did not want him deported due to him being illegally here......now that i have come to know he is married and has other kids with his wife, and the fact that he has nothing to do with our 16 month old son i want to report him.....Does anyone know the legal ramifications from me lying? can i go to jail even if i feared my safety? i just need help with supporting our child and i am sad it has come to this (sorry for the spelling)

and i know who the father is no doubt *** hole i dont need a test to know if it is him cause it is
Im not trying to get back with him its not about that at all i need financial help for our child and if that means he wants to see more of our kid fine he can as long as someones with him last time he held my child he was drunk and fell over with him my child was not hurt thank god

Just tell them the state worker, you made a mistake because you were afraid for your safety as this man is violent, & they should take care of the rest. Don't give up, don't cave in, & don't take "no" for an answer; as I have been trying to collect for the last 25 years. He is financially responsible for your son. Mine tried to get out of it, everywhich way he could, he has even left the state, quit every job he has ever had, he is a total loser, druggy, and at 54 years old, he is still running. Be strong, it will add up, in fees & he has to pay. It is nationwide, now. They can run, but they can't hide. It's not fair for those that have paid into child support. It doesn't matter if he's illegal or not, you are getting the money, they will go after him for it.

the most that they will do to you is make you pay it back. Let me give you some advice. If you are doing this out of revenge and anger DONT it isnt worth it. When I had my son now 5, I was getting assistance too and I also told them that I did not know the father but they didnt buy that. They wanted a list of eveyone who I had slept with for the past five year prior to having my son so that they could test everyones DNA (not that there was alot but hey thats private right) My ex said that he wouldnt help me cause our son wasnt our son, and I thought that making him take responsibility for his child would make him want to help me raise him...I was so WRONG. I forced him to take a DNA test which proved him his father and for 4 years he made my life hell, he wanted rights to his son and becuase he was paying child support he felt that he deserved them...and he got them by taking me to court. I eventually came to hate him for what he said and done to me, and when I tried to move on with my life he made it harder for me. We do alot better now, our son is 5, and we tolerate each other for his sake but you dont want to have to go through all that drama to get back at him. Move on with your life, I know you think that because he dont see your child now that he wont after he has to pay childsupport but believe me when it comes to parting someone with their money they want something in return and you will only be causing yourself problems that you dont need. Life does go on after this, I promise you. I found a wonderful man whom is a wonderful father and step father and we are getting married next month. Cut your losses now and let it go.

like you've never seen Maury Povich. you'll ***** anybody. you don't ''know he is the father. tell the state you think he is the father and force a DNA test. but if he has a wife a kids you will be taking a pay cut. but you go girl .....hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
