See that our Idiot King now wants over 8,000 more troops -- on top of his "surge" -- for Iraq (and Afghanistan). Will he ultimately be the cause of reinstating the draft? Do you think 5-D Cheney will have to finally serve his country?

There are plenty of reports stating that we're stretched too thin, and those who are serving are on longer and longer rotations. Sooner or later, we'll have to feed our Idiot King's failure machine.

His back door draft has been running for years. Extended tours and increased rotations are a form of back door draft.

We've been dancing around this question for quite some time. It's only common sense. If we were severely challenged and had to respond militarily elsewhere in the world we'd be SOL. There's only two solutions. Close some of our international bases and use those troops, or reinstitute the draft. With The Decider at the helm, anything is unfortunately possible. He has said many things, especially at the beginning of his Presidency and in his campaigns, that he never kept his word on. I know he has said no draft, but I don't why anyone would take him at his word about anything anymore.

Lie. The bill in congress became presented by technique of Charlie Rangel. it is a ploy Democrats use to scare human beings. The Republicans and protection stress understand that they get more suitable positive infantrymen with an all volunteer protection stress. Your instructor does no longer understand the way law works, nor does she understand that data as to who needs the draft. Take each little thing she says as questionable until eventually you are able to coach it with sturdy aspects!

The last thing our military needs is a bunch of un-American, unpatriotic, whiny draftees. This is a modern high tech army. A great deal of training is involved that can only work with bright, motivated and dedicated troops. Not the likes of you.

Well here is a Yahoo classic repeat question. But once again we see no research done.

Rep Charles Rangle, Democrat is the only one pushing for the draft, so be careful what you ask for and don't forget you voted him in.....no one on the right wants it.

He doesn't want a draft?!! Rangel, a democrat wants it. They are going to do the surge and then start a pullout, don't you pay attention or do you just like to call names?

He is not trying to reinstate the draft so there is no success involved.

I thought it was 4,000... and I'm not even sure if it is in addition to the 20,000 or if its merely a report of 4,000 of the 20,000 new troops ariving.
