According to just about every POLL, 7 out of 10 Americans strongly disagree and/or dislike BUSH. Sounds right
Hmm...Seven out of Ten. Let me say that again...7 out of 10 do not like George W. Bush.

In just about every random poll taken in the last year or so to the present, George W. Bush gets around a 25% to 33% approval rating...25% to 33%...wow.

That would mean on average that 7 out of 10 Americans do not like him, do not like what he is doing, do not like what he has done. Seven out of Ten. Staggering numbers. To put it in a visual perspective, next time you are waiting in a line or in a crowded public place, count the people around you and do the math.

Does that figure sound about right, and if so, list the primary reason(s) why his approval ratings have remained so far in the basement?

Another wonderful useless poll.
Let me think...Al Gore was going to win in 2000 and he didn't. Independent company counted the hanging chads and he lost. Coward Kerry was going to win in 2004 but it didn't happen again. I guess polls are not too accurate.

People elected this president, twice. Poles do not show the whole picture. For instance, 30% like the way the president is handling the war. 70% do not. But that 70% includes maybe 35% who want to cut and run like you do and 35% who want him to unleash the full wrath and might of the military and win!

Maybe 70% don't like the what he is doing but 65% want to win. Oh and another thing, Congress only has a 33% approval rating. During the last election the Democrats only barely achieved a majority in both houses. The Senate by only 1 seat. And in the house of representatives, many of the newly elected Democrats ran as Moderates and some even as more conservative than the Republicans they beat. In Connecticut, Joe Lieberman won as an independent against a very liberal Democrat.

I wouldn't be quite so sure that America agrees with your point of view. You have to understand what the poles are really saying.

And there are twenty states, cities and counties that have begun impeachment proceedings.

You only need one state to pass and it did last in New hampshire 111-42 back in 2006. Why Ms. Pelosi has not tabled that motion for hearing in the House of Representatives is a mystery..

The Govt. is broke.. and that 70% of Americans are still without representation in the Democratic House of Representatives.

This should be a wake up call to all Democratics voters who voted to keep the immoral war majority for their House Representative.

Chi Guy or whatever his name is.. is one of those people whom I hope never votes.. you open the door to people like that and we all get to see the stupid answers from his viewpoint.. Heres what I think is the truth.. Probably most people just don't like the man.. and for that reason they don't approve of his presidency.. I personally voted for him but I don't like him any more than I did Bill Clinton.. however, it is not important whether I like the man or not, I like what he has done as President and if you will check out the strong economy that we are enjoying under his leadership then perhaps you will think he deserves a higher rating.. Clinton was leading us into a recession with a record number of foreclosures..but Bush has led us to lower taxes, lower un-employment figures, more people buying homes than ever before, lower interest rates, and no inflation.. He has done a great job on the home front and people don't give him enough credit for that.. Like him or not, approve of him or not, he has been a really good President... I think history will bear that out.. count me as one of the 3 in 10.. and as for Chi guy.. I bet he voted for Kerry.. and I thank the All Mighty there were not enough of them to get him elected..

Most polls over the past year have averaged in the 30-40 percentile range, and it's not suprising that will dip a little bit given the recent hits his regime has taken (Scooter, Mid-Terms, Walter Reid, the recent FBI debacle, etc.)

So, those numbers are probably accurate. As to why, because he's doing the same old thing, over and over, without showing the American people that's he's willing to learn from his mistakes.

Actually, the numbers aren't that staggering. If you take a historical perspective, Truman's numbers were actually lower than Bush's at the same point in his second term...

...and Truman is viewed by most Democrats and Republicans as a great president.

His figures are low because the American people regardless of political stance are wise. They are better informed, have access to the Internet and are using it, and overall are less reluctant to call horsepuckey on nonsensical actions by officials.

I can't help it that the 7 out of 10 are morons. I'm one of the 3, so I'm in the minority. I thought you liberals were all about representing the minority values and pushing them on everybody else whether everybody wants them or not. So liberals should be jumping for joy right now.

People are finally getting sick of an Imperial President who does whatever he wants and thinks nothing of consequences. It's only a shame that so many people had to die and so many lives had to get ruined before America started waking up. Never voted for him, and I'm proud of it.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's only an approval rating. If he was elgible to run for th White House again, he would get more than 3/10 against Hillary or B-raq.

While I doubt your numbers are wrong, they really don't mean anything.

It makes me wonder why it took so long for us Americans to wake up to Bush's agenda of lies and fear...and why couldn't they have woken up before the election in 2004?!
