using this as a diversion to argue for, in attempt to take immediate attention off the troop surge he already wants to send?

If this is the new arguement, will people be moreprone to forget the 20,000 already in question?

Bush is really turning into that relative that already owes you money and you know wont pay you back, but still had the audacity to ask for more.

Accept, the sad thing is, his action will be killing and injuring more U.S. casualties

I love it when Bush supporters show their ignorance, Mahal, its good to know that you think 8000 more human lives, american families going into harms way for a war that never should have been fought in IRAQ, is such a puny thing.

Tells alot about the person and morals and integrity you hold, and how you value our country's finest.

This will never stop until they are out of office, or the Democrats find a way to pull the plug. Meanwhile all the violence, death and plunder goes on as before.

I love it when people complain about a tiny addition of 7000 or 8000 in Baghdad, and they're totally oblivious when a new carrier battle group floats into the gulf adding a "surge" of 25,000 sailors!

You guys are just delightfully ignorant!

Unfortunately, the corporate media and the cons have dragged down America and will not stop until we go bankrupt or all die.

More of the same is more of the insanity
