Or "Non-American" either. Aren't Americans drifting to a kind of fascist culture where the critical mind is de facto forbidden, where constitutional liberties are de facto limited to being a good soldier, where the democratic debate is de facto limited to different shades of xenophobic right?
Wasn't America planned to be about the freedom of discussing any "Un-American" idea you see fit, about chosing any "Un-American" way of life you see fit, without harming the "Un-American" expression and choices of others?

The reason I ask is this. Since the begining of our nation, we have elected our Presidents. Did anyone outside of political circles know what Washington had to eat on a daily basis? Now, I can go on a website and find out what Bush ate two hours ago. A round about way to get to a point I know but here it is. I Googled George W. Bush and got 4.5 million hits. So what do I know to be true? Has this greater access of info caused, not only a decline in trust in our system, but in our leaders also? Is it because we do see that the system is flawed and that our leaders are human also?

I would have included the fox "news" link, but they've already twisted this around making Edwards the bad guy by headlining that he is using this to make money, while absolutely minimizing Coulter's role in starting this whole thing. Since that is so blatantly ignoring the basic journalistic tenets of accuracy and fairness there is no way I will include a link to their garbage. You conservatives how to dial up Fox's "news" website crap anyway.

All I'll say about Coulter is what.a.hag. Attention-hungry P.O.S. with no useful commentary and spewing pure hate towards some dude she reasonably shouldn't have any beef with whatsoever. I think everyone whether democrat, republican, gay, straight, lesbian, assexual-any classification of person-should be disgusted with this joke of a person.
