uh do you have kids and/or pets? if so do you keep your gun locked away out of reach of your kids and/or pets?
in case someone breaks into your house, is your gun locked away safely enough that the burglar can't take your gun and run away? if so I, as a liberal, don't have any problem with that. I have a problem with people owning guns in their home that don't lock it away properly because that poses a danger and risk to not only you but your neighbors. what if your kid takes it and decides to play with it in school? then it's columbine all over again.
If you want to shoot beer cans in your backyard fine. what you do in your own property is none of my business as long as you're not endangering those around you. but once you pose a threat to those around you that's when I do care (i.e. if you were making a nuclear missile in your basement).

Becaus they either don't seem to understand that criminals tend to not follow the law. In Washington, Dc (where guns are illegal) you're more likely to be held at gunpoint because they criminal knows you don't have a gun with which to counter his attack.

Well, I prefer to shoot at targets and I prefer to have some red wine in nice company , but do whatever you like , it is your backyard and as long as you keep your backyard clean, I wont mind........

I hope you have 40 acres, or the neighbors might complain. Liberals nowadays have decided they like guns.
