Yes, you can become president if you have extreme power and influence and know the right people... But most likely this will mean you are already rich and affluent...The companies pay to fund the presidential parties on both side just as the federal bank (funded by private banks not the government) funds both sides of the war... But those running for president must pay money towards the cooperations so someone will have to fund you riches will come with it. If you meet with the Bilderberg group, or are a member of skull and bones and/or other secret societies and have secret power you also have a chance to rise to power...
Then again, maybe all of this is an illusion by the true global elite so that people spend years trying to figure out an illusion, and settle for it without seeking to find the real hidden hidden truth...

Yes. However in order to become President [USA] anyone who is not in themselves 'rich' would need to mount a successful fund raising campaign before even contemplating going on the 'campaign trail'.
Here in UK there are restrictions on the amount which a political party may spend on it's election campaign. The theory behind this is to allow all parties, whether rich or poor, to participate in the electoral process. However, that said, you know the outcome of any general election in UK is going to be either Conservative or Labour. There just aren't any other serious contenders.

It's theoretically possible, but it won't happen. It's also possible for the Yankees to bat 1000 for the season. The last third party candidate to put up any amount of opposition was Perot. He was hella rich, and only got something like 12 percent of the popular vote.

There has never been anyone named Rich elected to the presidency. Oh, wait, I forgot Richard Nixon, but I guess the answer is still "Yes."
