They could send them to boot camp first, anyone who doesn't pass the course, or who doesn't conform to military life should be sent to jail. or sent to iraq anyway as support staff (cooks, laundry attendants etc)

I have been in law enforcement for over 5 years now and Im ready for a change. Ive realized that I just dont have the interest in this profession that I once did. However, I have a college degree in Crim. Justice and my only work experience is investigations. All the private industry jobs that I applied to havent called me back. Am I underqualifed or overqualifed?

Ok I'm in college and just got a summons for jury duty in late March. I graduate in May and move away from the county where the summons was issued. If I postpone my jury duty until after my graduation date, can I then ask to be disqualified from their jury service since I am no longer living in the county?(not living in the county was cause for dismissal in the summons)

If you accidentally (or even knowingly) violate a city ordinance with your business (such as you can't advertise by putting fliers on cars) does it go on your criminal record? Or is it just a fine/ticket that doesn't show up on your record later? THANKS for any help! :)

I was adopted by my parents from Ethopia when I was 3, they are both white and liberal. They raised me well and I got high marks in school and have always the best receiver on every football team I've played on. I read a question on here saying that you need "conservative values" for a kid to be raised well, and liberals have screw-up kids. My parents are very liberal, fund and campaign during election time and have blessed me with their same beliefs. So I am proof that everything they say is wrong. So I guess my question would be where does this irrational fear and hatred come from?

The United States was founded on a lofty set of concepts and principles; Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, freedom of speech and freedom to express ones ideas and beliefs, freedom of ones own religion, and freedom from other’s religions, freedom from tyranny, the right to bear arms, the right to congregate, freedom of minorities from persecution, the right to privacy, equality, and democracy. At least these are the ideas that Americans seem to think their country is about. So why is it, that Americans are so keen on telling everyone else, how to live, who to love, what is right and who is wrong? Are Americans hypocrites?

Why does a country as big as America have to have across the board values, so that a few religio-political and fashion tycoons can tell us how to spend our money?

There are a lot of different views on this subject, but I pose this issue with the following statement. Should the world continue to let Iran develope this technology and sit back and see what happens? Or, should there be intervention and make sure that they don't do anything with it?

I don't know about you, but no matter what side of the fence you sit on Left, Right, Lib, Dem, Rep, Conspiracy Theorist.....and so on. The best course of action is to intervene. What is your take on this?
