The conservative and religious right does not think Bush has committed treason because they are his partners in crime. Their goal is to rewrite the US Constitution so that America’s secular democratic republic is destroyed and replaced with a fascist theocracy based on a ruthless and humanity-hating religious doctrine.

Their dream is to remake America into a Christian version of Iran where SOBs like Falwell and Robertson can be Ayatollahs who administer Old Testament style justice to all non-believers just like their radical Islamic cousins.

The media have been co-opted and seduced by Beltway power. The White House refers to FOX news as ‘White House West’, which should be a clue as to its purpose, which is simply to function as a PR division of the radical conservative anti-American movement.

Even the so-called liberal New York Times pushed the White House’s illegal, immoral, unnecessary, and doomed-to-failure invasion of Iraq. It made little or no attempt to uncover and report the truth, and that remains essentially the case to this day. Not that it would make much difference since fewer and fewer people read newspapers.

Outside of Fox news and a few other smaller organizations, the balance of the media caters to the liberal thinking person. So yes the media has indeed slanted the opinion of the American and global public.

If he has commited treason name the treasoness act(s) he has commited and your proof. The media has a negative effect on the current administration as they do with all republicans and conservatives since they serve their liberal masters.

the media has no effect on my opinion of the President. He is innocent of treason because he has broke no laws.

Because he is, maybe? He has done nothing conviction-worthy, and treason is the last thing I would arrest him for. He beefed up security and is attacking terrorists. How is that treason???
