There are a lot of different views on this subject, but I pose this issue with the following statement. Should the world continue to let Iran develope this technology and sit back and see what happens? Or, should there be intervention and make sure that they don't do anything with it?

I don't know about you, but no matter what side of the fence you sit on Left, Right, Lib, Dem, Rep, Conspiracy Theorist.....and so on. The best course of action is to intervene. What is your take on this?

dba_gregg,
"Self defense dictates that you only strike back when the enemy has struck you." This is not true, you can strike if the threat is imminent.

Self defense dictates that you only strike back when the enemy has struck you. As you can see from Iraq, striking first and "intervening" pre-emptively can have horrible unforeen consequences. Also if india and pakistan took your advice, the middle east would be a raidoactive wasteland right now.

Let them complete their Nuclear Facility. Simply let a "Neutral Third Party Commission" run the facility for them. What's wrong with that? Just keep their own people out of the facility and they can have all the electricty they need.

Intervene, yes ! We should be prepared to use Nuclear Weapons if need be. Deep Penetrating Bunker Busting Nukes.

If they dare retaliate, start Carpet Bombing.

The best course of action, as I see it, is close observation. And
I mean close.

At the first sign that Iran is about to attack one of it's neighbors,
immediate intervention with extreme prejudice.

I would report you, but I'll let the libs tear your limbs off and spit venom in your eye sockets instead.
